| I dun wanna grow up! So the permission didn't come from me, that's for damned sure!
But I was flabbergasted at the idea of providing my own headshot. I asked them before I had to go in if it had to be like the professional ones I've seen, and they said no, they'll provide those if I get in. They wanted a pic from our own collection because if I DO get the job, apparently it's a big deal, and everyone on the team gets featured on the website. The website isn't finished yet though, so I think that's why they weren't too picky. They wanted something in case they needed to put up something fast, but will do more professional ones later. **shrugs** Been hella busy...and I'll know by tomorrow if I can finally breathe again. XD This job will provide MUCH needed medical benefits. |

| Hahaha. Yeah. I'm thinking of attempting something like this again. Not anytime SUPER soon, but somewhere in the future. Maybe after the holidays? Maybe make it a summer thing? It was a lot of fun.
Still waiting on getting my paper back. I kinda just went and typed the final version without making a copy...probably because I hit print 5 minutes before class... 
but yea...aside from falling off the wagon, I had a blast. But the biggest point I wanted to prove was that having fun doing something like this together was contagious. | Not gonna lie, I didn't watch the video, and I don't plan on it.
Honestly, Casualty made some pretty good points. I'm always saying "I hate when girls assume that ALL men are bad just because one hurt her." and he pretty much said the same, only on a much larger, more important scale. Just felt that needed to be pointed out. Because, I also do understand that there are plenty of shitbags out there to make one feel like everyone else might as well be too. But, for the sake of this thread, this IS an infuriating topic. The topic has different cultural reflections elsewhere, and I don't think that makes anyone good or bad...well, I don't think I have the right to judge others for being different, at the least. Personally? This is horrific. And would I have stopped? Most likely. I say this from experience in a VERY similar situation, also. But, would I knowingly stop? That's the thing. I don't think I would, nor would have most people. I think that it's more or less just this overpowering feeling that takes over, and the next thing you realize, you're on the other side of the situation, realizing you have done something VERY daring you wouldn't have pegged yourself capable of. (At least that's what has happened to me, and I am as certain as I can be that it would happen again.) And just like everyone else here it seems, despite my actual thoughts and feelings(as expressed above) my first instant reaction was "fuck people, man." So, yeah, I can totally agree with people on the other side of Casualty's point feeling how they felt as well. (middle sister syndrome, I'm now realizing. Always seeing both sides. Haha.) |

And the porta-potty thing is hilarious! My cousins who have gone over seas have told me of similar escapades. When I'm bored? Napping is nice, like Elara said..But I'm not bored too often. In fact, it's so rare, that I often mistake a free moment of "deciding what to do next" with boredom. I have SOOOOO many things to do when I'm not busy. I play video games, read, draw, and I have my new baby, a new laptop. 
Thing is, I haven't had time for those things unless they're work related. In HELLA need of money, so I've been putting aside the things I want to draw for fun, for the work I'm getting paid for. My mac is the only novelty that I'm putting free-time into. I'm trying to learn everything I can about her, because I primarily got her for work-related purposes, so.... OH! And when I'm REALLY bored...I tend to do stupid shit. Really stupid shit. |

| I have yet to see this! I've been wanting to for a while now. My brother-in-law has the books and wants me to read them, but he's read them AND watched the first season, and he's advised me to watch first, then read as well.
But I LOVE these types of shows..."The Tudors." "The Borgias" "Camelot" all GREAT period pieces. Anyone who watches them for "accuracy" is dumb. But for entertainment? And "Game of Thrones" just always seemed to be right up my alley.

| This "Occupy" shit is pissing me off.
These bastards are in my way to and from school and work. And it pisses me off. I mean, I am ALL for people speaking up for what they believe in. And these "Occupy" things have good, non-violent intentions. Which I both recognize and respect, even if I don't agree with their mindset. The ones I have trouble with, are the ones I'm running into that have next to NO idea why they're even there. It's infuriating to see that they fumble over their answers when I've asked some to explain themselves. Like...seriously...go the hell home if you're not going to be informed. And the next asshole that tries to get me to donate something to them while I'm going to work, is getting set on fire. |

| I'm a little intrigued to see what this time next year will start looking like.
I mean, even I'm pretty damned nervous. So I think the world is going to end? No. And actually, for the same reasons you've stated, Bitmap, as well as others. But what's unsettling to me is what kind of panic will ensue? I'm hoping I'll get to laugh the entire time and go "HA!" throughout and after. Just like Y2K. Remember that? Hahahahahahahahaha. | Anyone have small "quirks" (or bigger ones) that you feel like you possibly CAN'T be the only one who does certain things?
My most recent realization is this: Does anyone else here ever start reading a thread, realize that it's really interesting (for me it was Bitmap's recent thread in 'Muse') but see that you do not have the time to thoroughly read it, and/or the replies that follow and/or formulate a decent reply yourself? So often have I caught something like that, not have the time to devote the amount of comprehension and response I would like to, so I tell myself I'll save it for the next time I DO have time. (Sometimes I forget, so it takes a little longer to get back to it.) Does anyone else do that? |

| Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Late as usual)
I woke up to most of my family already being here. I'm not allowed to help with the cooking, so I got to be a big kid and "babysit" all day. Really we all just played and made a REALLY awesome fort out of my living room. Then, I spent much of the day teaching my 5-year-old niece quotes from "Talladega Nights" that Ricky Bobby movie. She will now tell you when she's going to "Come at you like a Spider Monkey", "Scissor kick you in the back of the head.", when she's "All jacked up on Mountain Dew.", among other things. Best kid ever. We kept the curses out though, because my sister would have skinned me alive with a cheese grater. Then drove like two hours out to Lancaster PA with my boyfriend to have dinner with his family (they went away for the weekend...and I heard on the radio station that it was middle PA, so naturally, I was all "So...how far is Pittsburgh from here?" and turns out it's pretty damned far...so...) then drove back, and took his brother out drinking, like we've been promising since he turned 21 in September. And yeah...apparently I missed A LOT of drama at my house, cuz I left right after dinner. So, I got lucky. |
