Kara could feel the heat rising to her cheeks. She thanked Andrea as she handed her the sword, but lowered her face slightly, in an attempt to hide the blush. She felt so out of her element. Back at school, she was secure, with her 4.0 GPA in Biology, and her laptop in which she knew inside and out and could get inside any computer and hack into any system out there with. Here, she wasn't trained in any special type of combat.

At the sound of the gunshot, Kara immediately tore her handgun from it's holder around her waist. Instinctively, Kara took hold of Andrea and pulled her down to the floor until the heard the bullet finally land, with a 'cling' like sound. She then stood, pointing her gun at James. Her hand was perfectly steady as she held the gun, ready to pull the trigger the second she needed to.

"Are you crazy?!" She exclaimed. She took a few steps toward him, not lowering her gun. "You had better hope that you only made a mistake setting up your weapons for this mission, rather than being some sort of traitor..."

Slowly, Kara lowered her weapon and tucked it away. She walked over to the bullet and picked it up. She held it delicately between two fingers as she examined it. She then walked over to James, and stood directly in front of him. She then extended her hand with the bullet in it, toward him. "Here. This would be your's." She says shortly.

Then, suddenly, a smile played at the corners of her mouth. "If you're as old as your talk makes you seem, then then you've been working for the organization since my mother was learning her ABC's." No longer able to fight it, Kara found herself flashing that smile that she tried holding back.

Next thing she knew, Kara found herself being taken in the opposite direction by Andrea. She listened to her speak, but upon her last statement, Kara didn't waste one moment to reply.

"Of course I'm staying." She said. "Don't worry, I've thought long and hard about this already. I wouldn't be brought here for no reason...'least I don't think so...." Her voice trailed off at the end, but she quickly regained her composure. "I'm staying. But no worries. I am no fool. I know what I can do and what I can't. I'm also full aware that those who jump blindly into things that they can't do, only get in the way and endanger everyone else." She gave a nod at her last statement. Pause. She then glanced back at James for a brief second. "And no worries about that either. I don't mess with grandparents." She added with a giggle. Just then, she turned back to Andrea and returned her stare. "And what is wrong with turning out like you?" (restricted) |

Name: Kara Winchester Codename: Blue Age: 21 Gender: Female Weapons: Zero Point Energy Pistol. Description: Kara is a very swift and agile woman, which has been useful to her many times. She is nearly the spitting image of her father, Brian Winchester, who has just recently retired as a mercenary. Her skin tone could be considered average, not pale, but not exactly tan either. Brown freckles dot the bridge of her nose and across her cheeks, underneath her eyes, just as her father's did when he was much younger. Her eyes are as dark of a shade of brown as they can get, while her wavy, chestnut brown hair falls about her shoulders. As far as personality goes, Kara is 100% woman. She is only confrontational when she has to be. Otherwise, she prefers to use her wit and intelligence to weave her way through situations. However, she is not afraid to get her hands dirty when necessicary. History: Kara's father, Brian Winchester, and her older brother Patrick, who would have been nearly thirty by now, have been a part of the mercenaries nearly her entire life. Patrick, however, went missing mysteriously, only to show up dead months later, just shortly before their father's retirement. No one has been able to figure out wether or not it was duty related... It was Kara's intelligence that ruined the secret. She always had a knack for books and computers and was even able to skip a few grades, thus, graduating from a university by the age of 20. At a very young age, she could figure almost everything about every electronic device placed before her. Therefore, it wasn't long before she knew the computer inside and out. It was then, that she accidentally divulged into her father and brother's secret, making her life never the same again. It was too dangerous for Kara to know the information, so Brian had no choice but to train her a bit, especially in hand to hand combat. As she got older and began to power through high school, it was then that the mercenaries displayed a wholesome interest in her. Kara kept turning them down however, until the incident of her brother's disappearance and death. Then, despite her father's wishes, Kara accepted the invitation with open arms, in order to continue her brother's work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gently, the door opened and in stepped Kara Winchester, with her laptop strapped over her shoulder. Kara's appearance was very professional-like, yet didn't take away from her youth. She wore a short sleeved white blouce, with her top two buttons unbuttoned. Her navy blue skirt, which wasn't exactly tight fitting, but snug, fell to her knees. She wore stockings that matched her skin tone, along with black boots that came up to her ankles. She scanned the area with her dark brown eyes, until they came to rest upon the mess caused by Icav. A smirk cut across her mouth as she continued scanning the room until she spotted the two men standing there inside. Kara then made her way toward them, not sluggishly, but taking her time. It was her nature to be coy and witty, no matter the situation. Once standing before them, she stopped, but did not say a word. She glanced from one to the other, taking them in and trying to analyze them as much as possible. She then reaches into the pocket on the side of her skirt, and pulls out neatly folded papers. She then hands them over to Incognito, holding them firmly until he would grasp them, and looking him directly in the eyes.

Just to keep you guys updated, I have been working a little on each character. Francine and Shine are probably going to be the first ones done, considering they've already been drawn up before and I've seen examples of them. They'll be the easiest.

Soon as I can get to a scaner, I'll be PMing you guys what I have so far. Nothing is spectacular so far, because all I'm doing is experimenting.(That and I'm having UBER "artist block"...for some reason, these sketches are shitty, even if they are just experiments...;_  So when I send you the work, remember, it is not anywhere NEAR the final product. I'm not putting too much work into them just yet on purpose, until I know that I am going in the right direction with them. So right now, just tell me if you're liking the direction the look is going in, not the quality of the drawing.

Kara turned to see who had just entered the room. After eyeing him for a moment, giving him a quck analysis as well, she offered him a warm smile. Then, she turned back to Incognito, just as he began walking away.

Kara quickly turned her attention to Spartan. She placed a hand to her slender waist and shook her head.

"Making your own enterances is also an easy way to get caught." Her smile never left her face as she spoke and she retained her previous tone as well. She then walked over to the pair, her boots clicking softly against the ground and her hair swaying as she moved. She didn't stand directly between them, but by the time Kara stopped moving, Dynasty was to her left and Spartan was to her right. "The name's Blue." She states matter-of-factly, "...or Kara...whichever you gentlemen prefer." She adds, slyly.

Kara didn't even wait for the two to reply. She knew they'd have time for more introductions later. She gave them a slight but polite bow and made her leave, following after Incognito. She didn't stop until she was standing directly in front of him. For once, she did not smile, but her expression was rather soft, which also wasn't part of her usual demeanor. Not since her brother had gone...

After the drag, Kara reached up and gently took the cigarette from his posession. She then tosses it down and grinds it into the ground with the tip of her boot. "Don't you know those things will kill you?" She asks, almost as though it was rehtorical, because she didn't even bother to give him time to answer. "Why I've been pestered into this in the first place..." She pauses, looks Incognito directly in the eyes. "You are fully aware that I am not as capable as perhaps these gentleman are, I am sure." She continues, cocking an eyebrow along with her statement.

"Reconsidering?" She replies through chuckles. "Sir, if somewhere inside, I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't be. Besides, I've got an old man back home to keep on his toes." She then straightened herself up, gently swishing her hair out of her face with a flick of the wrist. "I just wanted to be sure that you didn't get your hopes up." She says, her tone becomming serious. She paced a slow circle around the man as she spoke. "I am in no way helpless...but defense and offence are two completely different things."

It was as though something went through Kara as Spartan spoke. She flinched, and then suddenly went tense.

"It was given to me..." Her voice came out broken slightly, but it was Spartan's polite tone that enabled her to quickly regained her composure. Slowly, she lifted the gun from the holder at her side. A smile spread across her lips as she said. "It was given to me by someone very important...but if I'm not supposed to have it..." Her voice trailed off at the end of her statement. She extended her hand carrying the pistol toward Spartan and looked him directly in the eyes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
