| I can only relate this to the episode of Futurama in which aliens were using 'Human Horn' as an aphrodesiac, thinking the nose was the sex organ of people. As noble as it was in olden times to use every part of the animal, I'm not sure indians ever ate filet 'o phallus. This can also only further my theory that Chinese cooking is not just an art but some wierd attempt at alchemy, making legitimate food out of the most obscure things you can find. I think Joe Rogan is wetting himself with glee right now. | |||

| The closest thing to that is a section in Dream Theater's song The Dance of Eternity, in which the guitar still has overdrive but the melody is on a honky-tonk(i hate that word) piano. I'm almost certain Les Claypool of Primus has worn what you're talking about or something close to it. In reality, the biggest difference would be the style of percussion, I don't think you'd be using any blastbeats and bass trills. | |||

| Well, i was on my way to having an awesome birthday, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment.
you see, Dream Theater was scheduled to play in Detroit today (the best coincidence that has ever happened), and I had already gotten tickets and was going to head downtown shortly after school. just after school ends, a freind who was going with me and I find out on the DT website that the Detroit show has been cancelled as of 10 -11ish this morning, because of James Labrie being somewhat sick X(. Even though i had a nice small party on saturday, this birthday has been a bigger down than an up. |

I'll be going to Florida with my grandparents to the house my grandpa has built, in the town of Brooksville. I'll probably also end up being in Orlando for some time. 'Kiss(cheek or hand)' seemed good to me, it seems like the best balance of affection and respect. I've kinda followed this before, but the first date wasn't the first time I met her, so we ended up "watching a movie" which was enjoyable and happened to be Fight Club  . |

| I haaate the voice of the singer, but they actually have some musical ability and experiment a little. Still not above making jokes about though. A friend and I are currently working on playing a swing version of I Write Sins Not Tragedies, we were planning on 'learn a song in 10 minutes' but this has some weight to it. This experimental edge had an interesting effect on the scene crowd; once they found out the talent within this band many disowned them for their sound not fitting the current style. | |||

Here's what's going on: really fast repetative double bass is all the rage these days in many circles. The standard thing to do is train your feet a lot rhythmically and build up stamina so you can do stuff like that 24th note bass roll at the end of Tool's Schism. Then comes along the bass trigger, a device that you program to make the bass drum pound as fast as you want to. It takes away the timeless acousticness that rock percussion's always had, but makes for bass rolls faster than human feet can ever go. The only skill needed is a good sense of rhythm, which isn't rare. It's mostly the hardcore bands that are using it these days, now making 'hxc' music almost as easy as making rap. Do you think this innovation will take music to a higher level, or that it's cheating out good musicianship and once again putting machine over man? I happen to side with the latter. | The first elementary school i was at had a huge playground that probably looks a lot smaller now. I remember most of the time in winter I'd be cold and withdrawn, seeking shelter in a half buried tractor tire in the woodchips. In fifth grade I was at a different school with a much smaller playground, and remember being in giant soccer games, which were pretty much wars. I hardly ever touched the ball, being the unagressive almost-reject I still am today. There were also a group of really mean girls who would go about and injure guys. They took this one poor sap and rammed his front into a pole repeatedly, knowing there wasn't a thing that could stop them. I never remember actually being in many of the events that happened at recess. | |||

| Michigan is about the same as Kansas with weather : (, probably more gray, which is why everyone is depressed and jobless.
At school, I'm ignored by nearly everyone. I'm somewhat respected in band and if known to anyone else, I'm usually "that smart kid". I never remember what to get at lunch and end up consuming some crap that has negative nutritional value. At least my 1st hour teacher (american history) is great, he gives examples with tv, movies and music. He'll also play some obscure tunes thing from the 80's while we're working, and breaks into grandiose impressions during lectures. I have a select few female friends, only one good friend out of them, and my relationship has only been with someone outside of school. I'm probably far from physically attractive, I'm slender and have brown hair that's either messy, in combover(my favorite), or fashiony with gel when it's short enough. Also against my favor, the 'girls love musicians' thing is pretty much a lie, girls love people who are musicians for the purpose of getting girls. |

Michigan is where all of the smart rednecks (hehe) move to. Of course, the people far up in the UP can be wierder still. My Grandpa is kinda in this group, back in the day he's done such things as fall of a roof on his head with no major injuries, nailing his finger to a wall and dangling by it, sewing that same finger up by himself, get stung by bees so much he couldn't open his eyes the next morning, and win many a drinking contest. Most of this was by accident though, not along the lines of 9V battery-tasting. |

| Until people start smuggling things the size of Optimus Prime into our country, I see no problem with immigrants, or their possesions. People who come here illegally are sometimes more useful to our society than the ones born here. I don't think any country would send its poor next door to infiltrate that place's economy and destroy it from the inside out, we have too many citizens here who accomplish that. If you mean a geographical border problem, my long standing idea of painting big black lines where national and state borders are would finally be put to great use. | |||

| Everyone's pushing me to take drivers training and get my license this summer, which I see no point in for at least another two years. I would go everywhere on bike, but much of metro-Detroit seems to have sidewalks only for decoration and the safest roads are actually the super busy ones with shoulders. Since I can't focus on more than 1 thing at a time to any depth, I have no idea how I'm going to drive (well yeah I do, 'badly', but it's still going to be a very difficult skill to learn). | |||

I've never heard as vivid a tale of a wierd day such as this one. The subtle humor about Windows Vista was my favorite part, that might actually be true. I've heard some sort of presence before speak to me in a language I can't understand, but it also may have been english and I instantly forgot the sounds. The best guess from me is that your 'trip' was a combination of thoughts, photographic memory and a little bit of reality gone out of sequence, and it's cool to know things like that can happen (without drugs). |

| It's come to me that we live usually less than 120 years on earth, yet eternally after that. I'm staying with the belief that human life does not end in tragedy, and in fact does not end. No matter how much we'll love or hate it, everyone will live consiously, in suffering or in reward, forever. My life is filled with big and small dissapointments, which only seems to convert into talent and new perspective. My main outlook is wayy more positive than most around me, but contains an inner seriousness that few witness. I'm overall content with life and the great amount of work I'll get to do. Being old is going to be awesome if it is to be, no sex drive, excessive gas, white hair, and a cane. Finally, I have enough faith in God that I don't have any fear in death. People should be celebrating their life, not crying about it, because there's always redemption for everyone. | |||

| Heh, in life I'm seen by lots of people as someone with lots of quirks and being extremely proficient at varying things. I don't mind it, it pretty much is true that my select few hobbies i enjoy (ddr, music, drawing) I develop really fast in. To most girls, I think they see me as some gross kid whose skills wouldn't matter anyway, probably from not appearing to notice them or having acne some of the time. Or they think I'm an elitist who has no time for their petty minds. I should look into acting, but no matter what character I play I'll be the most ignored person offstage. So "wierd kid" is the most of what I get out of people's thoughts of me. Not very hurtful, but annoying when I want to alert people to something and they act like I don't exist. | |||

| I originally got a myspace as some sort of compromise with my girlfriend a while ago. Now it's nice to communicate with other people, but still pretty unnecessary. My friends are either people I know, fake pages created by those friends, and two or three local bands.
