I think what happened is most of the gaming industry moved on to using guns, and making "shoot em ups", which you just don't get the same kind of feeling from. Super Smash Bros. Melee in adventure mode is the closest modern game where you can kick and punch your way across levels. Heh, I just remembered The Simsons arcade game, both hilarious and a great classic beat em up.

well, I was expecting this one too. It's good to be different.

You Are a Religious Republican

You make up the conservative, Christian, dedicated core of the Republican Party.

You believe it's important for religious people to stand up for their beliefs in politics.

And for you, this means voting your conscience - which almost always means voting Republican.

Your pet causes include the sanctity of life, school vouchers, and prayer in school
.

What political persuasion are you?

I remember a story of one of my dad's co-workers having the last name Putrice, a substantially ugly name. One of the worst names for our day would be Ludwig, it just doesn't sound human anymore, or if anyone decided to name their kids after assorted Pokemon.........."Charmander, GO! You'll be late for school!"

Ah, Michigan has lots of rapidly varying temperatures, going from the 80's to way too cold to care. This winter a group of friends with me walked home (well, to tai's house) in 12 degree weather which took at least a half hour. That and being in track, i've gone to practices and meets that were painfully cold and rainy (Michigan also gets rain just above freezing quite a bit). Now here its been unusually warm, 60's and low 70's for this time are awesome. I seem to have more energy now, and more good things have been happening, like getting asked to be in a band and finally passing the uber hard Juppongatana on Stepmania.

I played this just today, great freaking game. Many new great and hilarious characers, and much smoother looking. I want to tell a lot more but it's a game you have to experience. This right now is my favorite FPS and among the only ones i enjoy. I've never had any timesplitters games so i'm not considerably good at all, but i play with a master so i'm learning well.

I believe Bob Marley finally died by choking on his own vomit, but drugs did bring him down quite a bit. Chris Farley was one of my favorite SNL people, that was teh suck for a long while when he died. All drugs can be unpredictable and there isn't a 'safe' way to enjoy them for health and social reasons.

"Shining Collection" - Gravitation
"Juppongatana" - Rurouni Kenshin
"Ride On Shooting Star" - FLCL
"Beautiful Morning With You" - FLCL
"Inner Universe" - Ghost in the Shell: stand alone complex
"Sakura Saku" - Love Hina
"Ready Steady Go" - Full mEtal Alchemist
"We Gotta Power" - Dragonball Z

The theme to Last Exile is very good, and the opener for Geneshaft, if you can ever hope to find it. Whatever the first ending to Inuyasha was is pretty good too.

They always seem to have too much of a message to get across to display talent, though the singing is better than most bands. I like them a lot and forever dream of having a long, skinny beard now. Chic-n-stu is a hilarious song, along with that EIEO thing on Steal This Album. The one thing that bothers me about them is the subliminal things, that all of their songs have some deep message on how crapped up this world is, but show no hints of anything like it in their videos. This also goes along with how they aren't Christian but acknowleged that it's a good idea to listen to Christ(I guess until recently they had been saying that and working to promote awareness of the Armenian Genocide) And among other things, two new albums are coming out this year, apparently with a heavier edge.

I've never really liked their music, but i do find their antics pretty funny and reminding me slightly of a ska band. I think they have much more life in their songs than The Used, who don't seem to stand out as much. They could be much better, and are one of the few emocore bands with tolerable voices, whiny singing generally sucks.

this reminds me of a quote: "I'm actually in shape, just a very round, oblong shape"

wow, i didn't think it was possible for anyone to weigh less than me here, but 103 beats my 107-110. I'm about 5'6''. I guess i'm in shape right now, since i'm in track (crap stamina but i can long jump well, in the 15-foot range)and skilled at DDR, but I have nearly no upper body strength and probably couldn't lift two-thirds of me. My forearms often show a multitude of veins which is very creepy to some people, i've always thought that was strange.

When I read Tsubasa: reservoir chronicle for the first time it was like that. It's one of the few action/romantic series that i really like now. Geneshaft, a cool space epic, was shown very little on Tech TV and i only saw one episode, but it had such great music and reminded me of Star Trek so it really caught my attention. That has to be among the rarest series ever, and is even worse for the soundtrack.

I havent heard a great amount of their music, but they're the only hardcore band that i actually like, probably because it's much closer to metal than anything else. They have the same guitar sound that these other newer metal bands like Diecast and Shadows Fall have.

hehe, ....wonky

a few of my friends are involved in setbuilding/stagecraft things and seem to love it. The audience notices a lot less than you think they do, being that most of them are friends and family. I'd never get hightened feelings about that, laughing and doing it without hurry works best for many things that are normally rushed through.

I've always thought the Crue sounded a tad generic, but from that most of their songs are likeable. They've probably never stood out much to me because they 'were' the standard of hair/glam metal. I was also less impressed with their new songs, less energy and more repetative chords. It would be interesting to hear that remake thing, Motley Crue with a super distorted sound is a very good idea.

.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

now that i've gottnw that out, i can't comprehend how the assistant principle who was punched was actually hurt, and one good kick to the back of the neck would have put her into submission much faster than handcuffs, if they really needed to stop her like that. Police are not especially great with children, being as they're trained to make arrests quick and forcefull. Sedative darts also work great as exibited in the Christmas episode of Family Guy. This goes towards the theory that all people living in Florida are either old or have some major personality flaw.
