| (Face it, Gamers don't go to the story realm, Story writers don't play games. A combo of both is rare, so I left this Gamebased Fanfic in the classic gaming, since its about a classic game. Anyone has a problem, just me know.)
Mega Man X Soul’s Plight “But Sir… How is that possible?” “I know it’s hard to believe, but it is. With that in mind, also keep in touch that this apparent reploid seems to be as old as X.” The maintenance reploid held a hand under his chin. He hover over the dark form as he scanned the form with machines. “I don’t know what he’s been through, but from these readings, his soul is corrupt…” “His Data Core?! That means he’s a Maverick then!” The assistant proclaimed, taking a step backwards. “Oddly enough, no it doesn’t. He’s not carrying any signs of the Sigma Virus…” The maintenance reploid, Doctor L., said to himself, as much as to the assistant. The truth was only known by a few. The Creator of the Virus, X, and Zero knew the truth. The Sigma Virus is really called the Zero Virus. Zero’s origins were a mystery to only but those select few. He actually was Dr. Wily’s last created Robot. By using the blue prints from his past failures, he managed to create this ultimate maverick, Zero, in attempts to destroy Megaman. This was Wily’s last attempt, before his death. Zero contracted the virus, and because Sigma, when he was the Maverick Hunter leader, was the one to nearly kill Zero, the Zero Virus effected him the most, leaving most to believe him to be the source of the Virus. “Oh, our dark friend here seems to have activity within his central core!” Dr. L proclaimed, leaning over the monitor… The Dark form was beginning to activate, and his memories began to play. He was in sever damage, cracks all the way down his black armor, and his memory was nearly destroyed. He was lucky to be found crawling out of the damaged stasis pod when he did by patrolling Reploids. *** With a swift movement of the green saber, the energy sword slid down the middle of the maverick. The blade came clean through the small robot, leaving a clean cut down the middle, leaving his energy fluid, or his lifeblood, to flow out of the cut, as the maverick slide apart. His left side falling opposite of his right side. Zero stepped over the small, green, and round reploid, holding his saber to the side, grinning to himself. He wore his red armor. Red breastplate, red jet boots, with a red helmet. The helmet had a green jewel in the forehead, and it jetted back. The middle of the helmet had a white underside to it. Zero pulled his freehand back, with his white glove, and tightened the blue band that held his lengthy pony tail, the one that reached his feet, and chuckled aloud as he slid his hand forth, and pressed the button on the side of his cheek guard. “X, you there? How’s it on your end?” “Zero?” A massive crackling sound came through the wave link. Probably because X let loose a massive discharge of energy at his foe. “Yea, X here. It’s all clear.” “I told you we’d do this in record time.” Zero chuckled, as his green eyes scanned the surrounding area, his scanners searching for any possible threat. “So you did.” The mellow voice came from the other side. The transmission seemed to be crackling for a bit. “I’m getting interference, I’ll catch up with you back at HQ.” The Transmission cut itself short, Zero only smiling to himself, beating X in the race. Most of this was child’s play to the top S-rank Maverick Hunters. He took a step up on a ledge in front of him, to the side of the Highway, with speeding hover cars raced by. Zero started to stretch downwards, to launch himself over the stretch of road, when his scanner started blinking. On the visual of the 3-D scale of the major city, he saw the red marker, from where the next Maverick popped up. “Man, they just keep coming today…” Zero quickly turned his saber off as he replaced it on the containment unit on his back. He pressed off the ledge with immense strength, nearly cracking the ledge, as he launched himself upwards. Nearing the Building roof, he ignited the jets on his boots, allowing him another leap into the air. A Simple Double Jump. Zero has tried to teach X I the past on how to activate it. Hell, X manages to hover, so Zero didn’t see why X couldn’t’ blast himself up into the air. Obviously, that attempt failed. It seemed X only achieved those powers when he managed to find the hidden Armor Capsules. Only X and Zero knew of Doctor Light’s attempts of giving X more power, since after all, he is Megaman. Sadly, those upgrades lasted for a less then a few days, tops, due to the intense amount of energy they required… It did make sense, since they allowed X to be by far, the most powerful being in existence. Each suit giving a specific skill. It was safe to say, X was adjusted for any type of situation. Zero chuckled to himself, and waved the notion off. After leaping from roof to roof top, he stopped suddenly, as he looked down. Only in time for him to jump backwards. He was nearly sideswiped by a flying car! Zero took a double check, and as the car was flipping madly upwards, he could also make out a few gashes in the side. Down below, stood a Maverick of intense power. Armored Armadillo. “What? X destroyed you…” Zero spoke to himself as he leaped from the building. He nearly landed on the Armadillo, as he ignited his Double Jump, and left a couple of burn marks on his head. “GAH! The hell?!” He cursed under his breath as he rubbed his head. He looked like he would be more fit to be a goalie of a soccer game. “Ah, yes, you must be the legendary S-Class Hunter, Zero. The blond hair, and red armor is hard to miss.” He hissed, in a crackly voice, as if the dirt he drilled in finally dried his throat out. “Your point? Your just a walking scrap heap. Do tell, how did you come back?” Zero pulled his saber free, the green energy blade coming to it’s full extent, with a slight, musical hum. The Armadillo didn’t say a word, but his response was him rolling up into a ball, and began spinning like made. ‘The hell?’ Zero thought to himself. ‘Oh right, this guy is like a giant pin ball.’ He gripped his saber tightly, as he leaped into the air. Armadillo blasted towards Zero in high speeds. Luckily for Zero, this was no problem. His Double Jump launched him over the flying orb, and at the same time let the Armored ball fly into his blade. He quickly unrolled himself as he flew forward, and slammed face first into the side of a building, as Zero landed softly, with a soft ‘Tew’ sound from both feet. He pulled his torso around, looking over his shoulder at the armored foe, musing to himself as Armored Armadillo attempted to pull his head free, his stubby tail wagging like mad. “Ready to give up yet, Armadillo?” Again, no response, as he rolled up, and began to spin like mad. This caused a massive hole to appear in the side of the building, but it caused him to break free. Again his launched himself at the red Hunter, only to meet the pavement, as Zero jumped backwards. Armadillo bounced forward instantly, aimed at Zero, only to meet air, as Zero burst upwards, again, stabbing him in the side, causing a hole to appear. Armadillo unrolled, and began flying, until he slammed face first into a car, a good twenty years away, breaking the windshield, and smashing the parked hunk of metal. “GRAAAA!” Armadillo screamed as he pulled his head out, a gun appearing on the top of his mole-like face, but as he turned, he never got a shot off, as the saber lodged itself in-between his eyes. The saber ran right through the cerebral cortex of his brain. The mind self destructed, as the body began to heat up. “Err…” Zero leaped backwards, and launched himself forward, dashing forth, moving nearly five times his original speed, as he outran the flaming radius of the built in bomb. Zero could feel the heat of the destruction on his back. “Z…o… Z-ro… Zero… Zero, come in.” X began on the Transmission. “Zero, come in, what’s going on? What was that explosion?!” The frantic voice came over the transmission. “Sorry about the scare, X. I ran into a blast from the past.” Zero mused at the encrypted message. “I’ll fill you in when I get back to HQ.” Armored Armadillo was an old Maverick. It was in fact, one of the very first Mavericks X has ever defeated. At the time, X had very little features, and no memory of his life. He still doesn’t, but he has a new life to life with now, full of memories… Armored Armadillo was a keeper of the Mind Shafts before the Zero Virus infected him. It turned him from a once humble Reploid, to one of the many that soon feel to Sigma’s army. He’s specialties consisted of rolling at high speeds, bouncing off the walls, and blasting short bursts from the cannon build into his head. His body armor left him invulnerable to all attacks, but his knees, and torso were vulnerable. Thus is why he curled up, to become difficult to even hit. Weak or not, it didn’t take much for X to defeat him the first time, either… *** X was back on his way, moving at his usual high speed, using a mix between dashing, and leaping to conserve power, and to cover distances. He shook his head, still a bit lost on what Zero said… “A blast from the past? He has way too much fun on the job.” Being the first reploid ever, and being the only non-glitched reploid, he was looked up too. Sure Zero was known for his devastating fighting abilities, but X was looked up to as a father figure most of the time. ‘Almost done…’ He thought to himself. His patrol was near completion. Normally, X and Zero would have their Unit’s #17, and #0 on patrol, but lately, they figured they would take charge for once. Surprisingly, all activates from Sigma seemed to have stopped completely. It was a major stress relieve for such evens to happen. Though, he had a feeling that Zero missed having Sigma around, having something to fight. In a way, X felt the same. It gave him a goal… Not like keeping the peace, but actually going out, and making a major difference. That, and Sigma was one of the first things X could remember. It wasn’t long after his training, that Sigma first came up. Being the Squad Leader of the original Maverick Hunters was a hard position to be in. And shortly afterwards, the Maverick Hunters lost Sigma to the Virus, but gained a new fighter, one that easily was better then Sigma… Zero. X managed to make his way to the water’s edge, connected to the sea… X stopped briefly, and stared off towards the sun set… It was getting dark soon. “This reminds me… of the first time Zero sacrificed himself…” Because of Zero’s sacrifice, not only did he save X’s life from Vile, but he gave X’s all of Zero’s blueprints for the Z-Buster. It increased X’s normal power over ten fold. And it was the only thing that could even harm Sigma’s strongest form… at the time… Quickly, a water column launched upward, causing a massive wave. X was thrown backwards, and slammed into the side of a building. The water quickly slid off his blue breastplate. The upper part of each armor piece was a dark blue, while the lower section was light blue, with an even lighter blue under suit. “Now what?” X’s paranoia was easy to tell, as he stood up. His right hand was covered over by a digital shield, as it solified into his weapon, the X-Buster… He slid his foot back, as he held his buster forward, aiming it at the water column, until he nearly fainted at the sight of someone he destroyed in the past. Launch Octopus. “What the?!” He blinked for a moment, before it registered with him that six missiles came flying at him. X quickly leaped upward on the building, only to have it crumble from under his feet. He quickly hovered in the air, and off to the side, he went to the next building next to him. He let lose six rounds in contact for each missile that came at him. “I thought I destroyed you!” He was anxious, and surprised to know he was back. Launch Octopus wasn’t easy even when he had his first full upgrade. Then again, he was in the water at the time. Octopus consists of size missile launching arms, red armor, and a building torso. It seemed like he had no head, and his eyes came out of his torso. He can spin around to cause a water cyclone, to pull his opponents towards him, which would allow him to clip all size launchers onto the enemy, to allow him to drain his opponent of energy, to give it to himself… X held his arm back, as he began to charge his buster… he didn’t plan on letting this one slide… (Last edited by Kaijin on 04-19-05 05:56 PM) |

I wish to apologize to anyone who is still using my hosting for their layouts, and other pictures. My Lycos server has apperently wipped me off it's servers for some unknown reason |
 ; I'm afraid that I might have to not only upgrade my FTP, but I might have to re-upload all the pictures I had (100+).
Sadly, I dont' know what I'm doing when it comes to this. It will be a while longer before I have time to figure out what goes on, what goes where, and what doesn't. If someone has some knowledge of this stuff, it would speed up the proccess of me balancing school life, and net life. Again, I apologize to anyone who's lost pictures (or in some cases, music) because of my stupid server.

I love the fact you play as Alucard, a half vampire, whom uses Dracula's abilites, and your not stuck with a damn whip ^^; Good luck finding the Sword Familiar. No walkthrough in the world can tell you where it is x-x.

That little room took me hours to figure out how to do. Heres a tip, In the clock gears, spin them untill you hear a click (Can't remember if it's 3 clicks, or just one.) on ALL the gears. the door will open.

Sadly, it opens to just a usless room with a few usless items. (Like the Sun amulet. Just like the Moon amulet. "Powers up during the Night." "Powers up during the day") The Sword familiar is apperently hiding in a breakable corner of a room, like some food is found. Im only told this, since my friend found it by accedint by using "Soul Steal" (restricted) |

X re-built him in X2 to help him. He was playable in X3, as a sidekick. X4 he prooved his power, and was givin the chance to proove it. X5 he attempted to give his life to save the world. X6 he lived the kamakazi, and hid away as a secret character. X7 he was offically put perminantly into the storyline. Im a fan of Zero. =P I like him better then X.

Zero is an S rank hunter, correct, but so is X. If you play X7, the diffrences in power is outstanding. While Zero gets close with his saber, it takes a few slashes to drop enemies. X's buster demolsishes things in a single shot. The only reason Zero is believed to be more powerful, is because of his insane speeds. He gets in close, to get away. if your going to go melee against distance fighters, you need the speed. If Zero moved at X's speed, he'd be raped hard core. But think if X moved Zero's speed o.o

As far as I can see, my Lycos server is gone for good -.-; Luckly, I have the backups of both the altered, and original pics on my computer back at home. (School currently.) So i'll see what I can do for people. It will probably be through aim.

Lol, well I beat x7 and played a demo of x8.

In x7, X is acctually a secret character, believe it or not, because of how freaking powerful he is. It takes roughly 30mins-2 hours do kill any bosses (no joke x-x It's like DMC2's bosses.) but X wastes them in 10 seconds tops.
