| As the doors open, Kael was set back slightly by the presence of the room. The nobility... He was use to the life of the trees.
Kael was a large elf. Even for human standards, he looked large. Standing six foot, and the size of a well built human, it would throw anyone off of his original origion, with the exception of his ears. The other demanding feature that he had was his heavily tanned skin, from being in the sun his life, and the silver hair and eyes. His silver hair hanged loosly down his head, a few strands infront of his face, and his mane easily reached his shoudlerblades. On his back, his bow and quiver sat calmly, and at his hands, lay his silver gauntlets. He was dressed in a dark green tunic, and pants, with dark brown, hand made leather boots. Made dicrectly from animal hide, and black rope. His silver eyes peirced forth tword Allard, and he fell into a half bow. His left hand crossed to his right sholder, and his upper body dropped slight. It appeared that was as far as his type of build could go. Slowly, he brought his eye level back up, and stood his full high, listening to the Prince as he spoke. Mind reeled... He usually was the lone wolf in these type of situations, but currently, refusing would leave him lost, due to him not knowing how to proceed... So the anwser came as followed. "It would be an honor to fight along side you, and the army. I put my bow and skills to your disposle." And once again, he did his half bow, his silver hair flowing downward. |

Chapter 3 All hell broke loose as Cloud lept to the side. He completely ignored what Barret was doing in the process, since all of his senses tensed up in the feel of a battle. The hail of bullets could be heard slamming into the sentry's side, along with a string of swear words to suit. "Typical..." He dropped his blade to his left side, and ran forth, letting the edge drag accrossed the ground, sending up sparks. Within range, he quickly lept into the air, and brought the blade down overhead in a massive strike, only to find minimal damage. Quickly, he jumped off the arachniod style leg, out of reach, as the tail came flying down in a sweep. Cloud twisting overhead, and flipped over the tail in a backwards jump. Barret, on the otherhand, bumb rushed the thing, and bear huged one of the legs. His arm free, and positioned to it's side, and he let loose. A string of swearwords could be heard as he fired for all his might, causing a dent in the side, and only having it grow larger, hoping it woudl break open. The leg kicked off forcfully, and lauhcned Barret to the side. The massive build of the man slammed into the ground with a massive thud. With the distraction, Cloud lept up, and took a swing at the tail, leaving a massive dent in the top portion of the gun mounted tail. The tail quickly spun about, and clipped Cloud in the back, sending him in Barret's direction. Instead of the slam Barret had, he planted his hands on the ground, and flipped around to his feet, sliding back to Barret, droping his sword a few feet infront of him. "How high can you jump?" Clouds glowing eyes peirced tword his massive friend. "What hell type -" "Just anwser me." Barret looked at Cloud for a moment, and shook his head "I can clear that damn thing." Cloud motioned his head upward, meaning for Barret to do so. Quickly, his massive friend jumped to his feet, bull charged forth, and jumped into the air, just intime for a beam to fly under him, narrowly dodging the tail's laser. As Barret jumped over it, he fired downward at the sentry. In the process, Cloud jumped to the side, avoiding the laser, and activated on of his two Materia orbs. His hands shot out, while airborn, and he formed a cloud of mist to appear below Barret. As soon as the bullets connected, they formed into shards of ice, that fell down, and riped into the metal armor. As soon as the metal opened, Cloud jumped for his sword, into a roll, and jumped up once more. He lodged his blade within the backside of the shell, and activated his second Materia. He gripped the handle with both hands tightly, and summoned forth a bolt of electricitcy. The bolt swormed down his blade, and into the electrical circut of the sentry. Among various sounds of cracks, and breakings, Cloud quickly launched off from the sentry, and let it short circut. The electrified Sentry wobbled backwards, tword the time bomb... "Shi! Cloud, Move it!" Both of them took a dead run out of the room. Just as soon as they made haste, they both turned around, and pushed the blast door closed, just in time to hear the sentry self destruct, and massive pressure to be felt on the door. "No time to rest, Barret. This place is going down." The building itself began to shake, and a warning light went off all the way through the massive mako hall. |

As the attack happened, he completely ignored it in a whole, and rose his hands into the air. As he did so, the blood red armor began to radiate, into a blinding effect, as he was completely immune to the heat. The two orbs collided, and caused a drastic effect to happen. The built up energy went massivly wide, and turned the entire air black. The ground turned black, the very aura of the world seemed to darkness into the blackness of Kaijin's soul, causing the Realm of Darkness. Shortly, red dots formed in every consivable direction surrounding ares. Thousand upon millions of little lights. Suddenly, every light formed, and shot down a large barrage of high powered lights straight down at Ares. Barrage of the Eternal Soul - A highly power attack, amung one of Kaijin's most deadly attacks. Each beam is on both the Pysical, and Spiritual realm, just as Kaijin is. If the beam is to be stopped by Physical barriers, it is instantly sent through the spiritual realm, from where it will attack the soul. The attack itself lasts almost 10 minutes straight, and the large charging time was fuel for the power of the attack (Edit: I accidently submitted the attack halfway through x-X ) (Last edited by Kaijin Surohm on 05-15-06 12:44 AM) |

Kael stood infront of his horse, and smoothed out the mane. He didn't like the idea of the desert... Growing up in the forest, that's all he knew. Sure it would be diffrent, but the idea of being out in the open made him uneasy.

He turned his head slightly as Tara came into the stalls, noticing the apperence. He moved back to the horse, and unhooked the harness. He wouldn't ride the horse with such a thing attached. It just bothered him. Being a Ranger, he knew how to handle a horse just fine.

His back was to the clean, spotless glass of the elevator's button press doors. A slick glossy reflection was clear as a large cross could be see off Seifer, reflected off the stainless glass, along with the reflection of the entire entrence of the Balamb Garden.

The steps flayed before him, a sharp grin was on his face, his hand placed on his black, stainless steel gunblade, as the blade stuck from the ground. His peircing gaze shot over the steps, and down toward the door, as he awaited his opponent.

He pulled his gunblade up, and paced down the glossy golden steps before him, his eyes turning to the left, as he passed by the small hedge the garden was growing, and down past the small pond that moated around the center of the building.

His eyes came upon his challenge, and his grip held tightly in anticipation.

Smoothly, he pulled his gunblade upward, and aimed the tip toward Shaddow as she walked. His eyes locked forth, as his smirk fell slowly.

"Hold still" he said in one smooth tone, as it echoed off the halls of the massive building of Garden. The deadly thread didn't stop, as he slowly pulled the tirgger, and let loose a bullet straight for Shaddow's back.

He smirked as the blade rose, and took a resting spot on his shoulder, just before he paced forth toward Shaddow. His eyes ablaze in crazed delight.

"Come now. Your name is on the List. Time to take the punishment." His look was maddening...

"It's after hours." The distance between the two finally closed. He dropped the blade to his lower right, as he bolted forth, closing inward at Shaddow. Right when he was in slashing range, he brought the blade up, and slashed to the upper right, letting loose a bullet in the middle of the slash for added effect.

He quickly locked his knees as he saw her fly under him. He knew full well this was going to hurt... and he was right. The pain shot through him as his legs shot backwards, launching him forward, and face down to the ground. Only thing that kept him going was his tight grip on his gunblade. |

His eye caught the movement, and already, his left hand shot upward around him, as he gripped Shaddow's ankel, mear moments before it came crushing down upon his wrist. He smirked to himself, since he had a death grip on her ankel, he brought his other hand upward, and slashed up toward the leg he had caught. |
