Hehehe. That's a good one, Makura. My name, assuming were going by the first pet I had and not the family's, and the streets I lived on the most, would be either "Rayn Dodd" or "Rayn Braddock" Rayn (sound= rain) was the name I gave to my cat when I thought he was a girl. Otherwise I would be known as "Rane Braddock", and I'm not a female.

That's actually pretty good. As cheesy as it may be, it's very well done. And the "screwed" part gave me a chuckle to.

3 minutes. I thought someone for sure was pulling a fast one when I saw the bar for the 3 minute + mark. I think I can believe your story though. Swimmers can often hold their breath for a long time. My average is 1:45. Once in a while I'll be able to get to 2 minutes, but I usually have to struggle a great deal to do it.

Yep, take a look in some of my SBC threads in the Sim Battle forum. Maybe it's like this for other forums, but layouts are merged together.
And I suppose some of out posts were erased as well?

Do not be ashamed of a lack of power. Skills and magic are used to help in battles, but there has been no fighter who has not stood a chance against warriors with them. Improvement on the abilities you do have will make up for that. Now then, we shall move on to the next lesson, a simple, but very strong skill that is uniqe to this realm and one that may be very useful to you since you have no special skills. It's called a 'Smash Hit'. A Smash Hit is a very strong physical blow to your opponent. All you need to do is focus your strength to your weapon and strike. The blow will send your target flying back with a great amount of damage inflicted, and even has the possibility of sending the opponent out of the area. The Smash Hit, although powerful, is control by a randomizor, something that exists in another realm. This means that on a scale of 1 to 100% accuracy, the higher the accuracy is the more power and damage it will produce. In order for a Smash Hit to connect, it must have an accuracy of 25% or greater. Any less than that and you will miss. However, should you achieve a hit with 95% or higher then your opponent will most likely be knocked out of the area, imitating and "instant kill". One special thing to note is that with good aim and strategy, you can can knock a foe into other enemies and cause indirect damage. Do this with 95% or greater accuracy and may also knock those opponts out of the area as well. A versatile attack the Smash Hit is. All you have to do is perform the attack and let the randomizor decide the fate of it. Now that you know how to do a Smash Hit, I want you to do it to me. If you miss then you will do it over again."

The Supreme Trainer stands ready to receive a blow. He is confident that you will successfully hit him on your first try

If you live up north then snow in the middle of April is nothing to be surprised about. It's uncommon, but it's not a bad omen. Just a couple days ago it was raining on my way to my brother's place and soon I saw wet chunks of snow falling. That lasted for only a short while,

List ten or less things involving yourself that you wouldn't say, something opposite of what you normally do or like/dislike. Keep in mind that your list doesn't have to be in any order. And no exaggerations.

1." Armored Core sucks. TimeSplitters? Don't get me started."

2. "Nah, I don't think trance is good music. It gives me a headache and it all sounds the same."

3. 1 5p3A|< l337

4. "Sim Battle? What, a bunch of lame make-believe fights?"

5. "Pffft! I got tired of bodybuilding."

6. "Oh? A pop-up. Win a free trip? Hm, sounds interesting." *click*

7. "Anime is for kids."

8. *Email Message from Eli Sanchez- please donate money to help cure my colon cancer.* "Aw, poor kid" *click*

9. "Eck! Berry flavors"

10. "All those lights and glowing accessories for cars and computers look kinda dumb."

I've already gotten the second and third right. It's the first that still needs to be answered. "Search you soul" is a very good answer and is probably the correct one.

The Supreme Trainer receives both of your visions in his mind, and after a quick surprising moment analyzes them. He nods his head when finished and speaks to you.

"Hm, I see. Those are decent strategies you have come up with. However one thing you could have done in the first scenario is hit the icicle as it is falling at the enemies on the other side. Whether or not that would have done the job is something that remains to be seen. As for the second one, as long as you did what you could with the powers you have then it is good enough. Just make sure something like works if you ever find your self in a similar situation. You have provided me with satistactory explaination, so with that, we will continue. You are doing well, today, Xeios. There are only 3 more lessons for me to teach you."

The wind blows softly through the air as you await his instructions.

"This lesson is comprised to two- strenghts and weakness, and personality. First is strengths and weakness. Everybody has them both. Even the gods above us have them both. No living thing is invunerable to everything, and that is why we have strategies for fighting. Speaking of which,t strategy will be tied in with this lesson. Everybody likes to show off their strengths, but not their weakness. It's not something you'd like to do while participating in a battle. Some people have no methods of defending against an attack on their weakness. Thus "cheating" ensues. I implore not to cheat during a battle. It does not looks good, and nobody likes it. It is something you have to deal with on a fair basis. You must find a way to overcome your faults by utilizing your other skills. Let your strengths defend your weaknesses. I'll even let you in on a little secret: if you can, let your weakness be a lure for a trap. Once your enemies take the bait, then strike them down. Of course, finding a way to do this will fall onto your thinking. Be whatever you do, be careful. Now that's not to say that every weakness is a great one. Some may not be too weak at all.

The same goes for your strengths. Be careful when applying them. Some fighters will use everything they have and show right in the begining of a battle. That can lead to mistakes, and often times failure. Keep your strengths hidden if you must. You do not need to show them all right away, just bit by bit unless you are in a critical situation. Someone may find a way to get around it and strike YOU down instead. Again, be careful."

The Supreme Trainer contiues with his intstructions.

"The next lesson is personality. No matter how emotionless someone wants to be, each and every person alive has a personality. There is not much to explain wtih this since you are most likely already aware of everything about it, but it never hurts to review. By having a personality you make yourself a more enjoyable person to be around. It also makes it more enjoyable for the person you are fighting during a battle. Tell me, would you like to fight somebody who has life to him? Most people would not. To many, fights are better when all participants have life in them. Techniques and attacks may even be performed better with personality. Now here is what I want you to do: Getting back to the previous lesson, tell me what some of your strenghts and weaknesses are, and how you could defend your weakness. Next, tell me about your personality. What is it like?

"I see. If your weaknesses are unfound then it is best that you identify them ahead of time before you find out the difficult way. 'Know thy self, and you shall conquer all.' Remember this. Now, I shall give you your final lesson. You've learned about many things since you arrived, so now I shall put some of your knowledge to the test. In battle, you may be faced with an opponent with your same strength or power. Overcoming such an adversary may be difficult and require a lot of strategy. However, if you continue fighting the same way there may be a good chance that you can outlast him, lengthening your attacks, so to speak. Doing this is a great way to intimidate many less experienced fighters, possibly defeating them without lifting a finger. This is what I want you to do, Vulkar. Show me that you can perfrom a lengthy action and you will have completed this lesson. Your goal for this is to make no less than 8 'sentences' during an action or attack."

The Supreme Trainer motions and calls over another student to stand before you.

"This young person will be your test opponent. He is going to attack you. Do what you must during this lesson, but do not kill him. You must also leave him conscious. You are to use what you have learned. You can use spell charging, the Smash Hit, strategy, basic fighting or all of them combined. You choose what to do. Do you understand? Good. Now then, begin the fight. And remember, at least 8 'sentences'"

The student looks at you and prepares his attack with a fighting stance. A brown hair young man with a fairly muscular build. He seems to be training in the martail arts judging from the lack of weapons in his hand. Suddenly he launches himself forward with a special fast movement technique and draws his fist back for a strong punch.

[I've changed the measurement of "accuracy" to "strength"

Your attack flew at the Supreme Trainer and struck, but only with 23% strength. The hit did not phase him, but instead would cause a small bruise to form later. The Supreme Trainer looked somewhat dissapointed.

So you see how the randomizer works? Although you had built a lot of power for your Smash Hit, it seemed to have only a weak effect. Do not be discouraged. Most of the time you will strike with a good percentage. I want you to try it again.

"Spreading the soundwaves of Trance music"

Although more of a motto than a quote, it's something I came up with a few years as text to put in my sig at the old Acmlm board. To this I still go by it, hoping that people will catch a beat or two of the stuff as they pass by me playing it or as I drive by in my car, hoping that they'll think it's pretty catchy or the least bit interseting. Still, I battle those who who rather rid it of the world, dealing with complaints of how it gives them headaches or how dumb it is. Maybe they were exposed to some bad songs and need to listen the upbeat tracks I usually have on. So that quote of gives the very resembling story of me taking on the role of God in a way that I'm trying to get people over to my side of the music world, or at least think Trance music sounds nice enough to give a listen or two.

"Time flows beyond space. Space exists beyond time."

This is another thing I made for my sig at the same board. The very first one I made, actually. The idea behind this one is that although physics states that space and time are bound together, it seems to me that they are also able to exist seperately, if the two were split apart. It's an idea that makes sense to me when I think about it.

"Life is unfair, so why be fair to life?"

Unlike the other two, this is 100% quote. It refers to life as an entity. My thought when I created this one years ago while driving home one night was that things didn't seem like they'd be good for me in the coming future. Why did I have to put up with not being able to do anything? People seemed to have better things coming to them. It was quite unfair. So I came up with the idea that I could possibly get a "cheat" and makes things turn in my favor instead of the rest of the world, that way I'd have an edge on everybody. Much like a video game cheat code. Infinite ammo or whatever. I have found my "cheat", and in a sense I do have an edge over everybody. But, it doesn't always work the way I want it to. Figures.

Bittorret is good, but it's rather slow for me. Maybe becuase I usually download the unpopular stuff. When I download Naruto episode I go to Lime Wire since it's somehow much faster for me.
