| I heard about the horrendous release dates, too. Japan gets a delay of only a week. So if you're living in Japan right now, you should be feeling a bit happy that you're not anywhere else. But, if this delay is to make sure the game play is the best as possible, then it'll be worth it. | ||||

Ah, I pity those who get no snow. You, my friends, are missing out.  I've had my share of big snow storms here in MN. In fact we've had a "true" winter- lot's of snow, black ice and days where the temperature dropped as low as -10 F. Cold enough to make ANYONE'S nipples stand on end. I remember over 10 years ago the entire state of Minnesota had to shut down, with the exception of emergency vehicles, because the temp had gone all the way down to -60 F. That was something.
Just before Christmas my brother and I were driving to our relatives' in a snow storm with really excessive winds. And by excessive, lots and lots of snow drifts were flying across the highways. So much so that there were several complete white-out instances where I literally couldn't see the anything in front of me, not even the hood of my car, for 1-3 seconds. What's more, my brother and I actually witnessed an SUV slide into the center ditch and flip over onto it's side. Man, what a wind storm that was. I've seen a total 20-something cars in the ditch the whole trip that day, including another one on it's side. People, THAT is how a winter should be! |

| Hey, that's very good. I hope you get the money to do this. It's a good feeling to see someone you know accomplish a dream. Even if you can't manage to get the money, at least you know your skills are great. It would be nice to have a donation thing here on Xeo. That would help you out. |

| It doesn't get down to below zero here ALL the time. On average it's about 7 or so days worth of sub-zero temps. But it's just not a winter to me without it. | ||||

I had to guess on a couple, but when I did I tried to match the tone of the qoute/sound, words used and any background noise with the each title. If the quote sounded evil with futuristic sound and high-tech words, then I chose the title which seemed to have an evil, futuristic feel to it. For the most part it worked. |

Way to be the hero there, buddy. I know there was nothing he could do, but it just sounds funny. The first thing I was going to suggest was to get help from the police. Next Nagis, I would advise that you put your wallet and any valuables you carry somewhere safe and hidden. That being said, it's a good idea that your boss wants the high bills in a safe. They'll be very disapointed about not getting much, and may even suspect that there is more, but then you won't know how to get to it. You know, they may not even hit your place on the expect night. They might end up changing the date to go. That's what I would do to throw people off. |

Sweet. Thank you all for this thread. I love these things. That's why I try to post in everybody's birthday threads. I wasn't around from 4pm or so yesterday and got back at 3am today. I had a good time yesterday. My brother and I went to go lift weights in the morning and then had lunch with our parents at Apple Bee's. My brother and I then went to a friend's place with another guy at 7 for a while and just the 4 of us liquored up partied it up down in his basement which looks like a very good lounge bar. Nicely done with good music. We were dancing pretty smooth down there. at 10:50 we called a cab and went to downtown Minneapolis to hit up the clubs (Club Spin). As soon as we got in my brother and I got separated from our two buddies and we never saw them for the rest of the night. They were doing their thing and we were having fun just dancing together (One of the guys doesn't remeber much from last night and barely remembers getting home. Hehe). I had a very good time. Tonight my parents are having a several people over to play board games. My brother and I are bringing a few friends as well. I suppose I'll be getting my brithday cake today, too.
You know, being this old isn't so bad. I don't even 27 yet. But that's natural since many people don't feel their age until a week or so. Time does fly, though. I've only know a lot for for a few years. But I've been on Acmlm boards since 2002-03 and have known others for several years. It's weird to think back to when I first met them. I was in my early twenties and some of these guys were 14 year old noobs barely in highschool. Now most of them are at least 20. That's a long time to go from noob kid to an adult, and sometimes it only feels like yesterday I've been around them. And I've often wondered what board life will be like here when everybody gets older. Will most people still be here by the time they reach my age? Will Xeo change this place to be a more mature site? Hm. We'll have to wait and see, won't we? Here's that picture, Xeo. Taken 4 and a half years ago.

| If you're thinking about making one for a specific game then I'm sure you know that would be next to impossible since we all have different consoles and games. However, if you are thinking what I think you might be, which is simply creating a group of online players to represent the this board as a whole, then it could be done. Members playing on behalf the site, letting other know where we're from. It's feasible, but then some us have online clans that we are a part of, myself included. We want to represent the clans we belong to already when going up against other people. So there might be some conflict with your idea, Ryan.
BUT, suppose we were to make a "Xeo clan" that plays against people from other boards. Select people could play certain games against those from other boards with the same game. Depending how many people have the same game, it could be anywhere from a 1v1 to whole team games. We could even create board ladders for competition. | I don't have a Wii yet, but I plan on getting one soon just for Brawl. And since it seems quite a few us here plan of getting the game I think a game clan for Xeogaming would work out great. | ||||
