| Elyk..the judging was based on what was seen...so it would seem.
We fight like we're playing chess..always thinking four moves ahead, using the possible outcomes to steer the flow of the battle. You saw Elara's battles..character..style..and were able to use these things. We both know you WOULD have won that fight (no offense Elara. You're pretty damned good in your own right. But unless "playing around", Elyk fights in a..different way. Most people here seem to enjoy the act of fighting rather than the plotting of it. Again, no offense. Simply two different styles (and i may be wrong in many of your cases). With that said..you might as well stick around. At least to finish that fight (if Elara accepts, that is). |

| A: Telekinesis is generally CLASSIFIED as controlled psychokinesis.
B: Psychokinesis is the "base" of all telekinetic ability. Oh..and just for your personal use...no form of psychokinesis can be linked with psychic ability. Those claiming otherwise are ignoring the fact that phychic abilities often appear/are previously present in PK cases. If you're a psychokinetic, you may also be precognative..but not BECAUSE you're psychokinetic. C: Pyro/cryokinesis is technically possible. It is similar to telekinesis in that both abilities use the same "form" of (usually) movement, just on a slightly different level. However, practically speaking, it is nearly impossible to achieve (hyperexciting the structure of an object to the point of combustion VS moving a cup. Which would be more difficult?). D: The average human being cannot activly control (or even manifest) psychokinetic abilitites. Characters used in simming are hardly average. Considering the fact that controlled telekinesis, rare as it is, is possible...your average sim character is more than equipped to control it. |

Welcome to hell, eh? I'm a not-so-proud subway employee myself. $6.40 an hour...yes, for all that bullshit. But if you think it's bad now..wait until you start opening/closing. Or opening..AND closing..in the same day. Do they make you close alone? Hmm. My subway does. And open. Bastards. | Beneath his cowl, Night's grin widened.
Before him, a single sphere sparked into life. Molten orange, arcing with yellow flame. To its left another bloomed, the dusty red of a barren world, and spun slowly around the first. Now, I'm all for killing babies regardless of the circumstances (and just for reference, there's still a black-market demand for fetuses in certain parts of China. Apparently, they're good eats)...but more often than not, abortion is a kindness. My logic for this opinion? People are idiots. Idiots tend to produce and raise more idiots. Every time i walk into a McDonald's and watch that kid with downs syndrome (they all have them) shuffling along picking up trays in some twisted homage to corky, a part of me dies. Every time i watch a paraplegic's head flop to the side because the obese mother pushing his wheelchair banked a hard left, i can do nothing but sigh. Every time i hear a white kid with a giant gold chain and pants hanging around his ankles say "Yo, G" i hold back tears. Every one of these cases and a hundred more gets the "Hoover seal of Approval". Abortion has it's place even outside of the "Rape/welfare of the mother" argument, kids. I may be going to hell, but i still raise a damned good point. |
