*You could have been gentle." He says while rubbing his shoulder. He sighs and turns to AD, now several feet away from him. "I guess that leaves me with you." Byakugan- Allows user to see through moves and see everything in 360°. Can also see the inside of a person and how their energy flows. |

It's about time someone posted after me......Now I get to talk more about it.
Well after I thought about it for awhile, i've come to realize the movie has its flaws. Bias aside it really isn't 10 material.......However it does deserve a high 8 or a 9. The plot was pretty medicore, but many will argue that it was outstanding. There really was no room for character development because all the character developmemt took place in the game. (Cloud does actually change towards the end though.) There were some unexplained things such as how the spirits got there in the first place and other things. And I lied about the Japanese voice overs.....Red XIII's made me laugh. What really makes this movie is the action. The action is utterly amazing. It really is. If you don't even like final fantasy, I still recommend seeing this for the action alone. |

Spoiler: Cloud actually went through some development in the movie. Despite having a lot of development in the game. Everyone else, save Tifa and Vincent, had to miniscule parts to undergo any character development. The spirits couldn't have gone through any sort of development without it becoming corny. They were created for one purpose and one only. Tseng never died. In the PC version he says something like "Go on without me." And that's the one with the updated translation. The console game changes his dialogue to make him die. I thought the Sephiroth fight was waaaay overrated. The only thing that was cool about it was the very beginning, the very end, and the novelty of the fight. The actual fight itself was boring. All they did was clash swords.  |

| *Shuyin's temperature begins to rise as he readies himself for the robots attack. In a blink of an eye, he dashes straight at the oncoming attack with his sword held high. As he approaches, the intensity of his sword increases, becoming brighter and brighter with each step. With a swift slash, his light elemental attributed sword completely eradicates the darkness attack. By this time Shuyin's skin has taken on an orange hue, for his body's temperature had risen at an alarming rate. No normal person made of flesh could possibly tolerate temperature that his body has currently reached. Shuyin stops on a dime, switching his grip on his sword and entering his Hakke Stance. Energy etches itself onto the floor of the ring, making the arena a giant yin yang. A crack of thunder is heard once again over the arena. The sapphire sword begins shaking, water condensates from the blade as if it were leaking. The entire ceiling becomes covered in water, however the water does not fall. Another crack of thunder and it begins to downpour. Rain falls from the celing in buckets drenching the entire area in water. People from the audience flee from their seats, covering their heads from the heavy rain drops.*
Hakke Stance- Shuyin's signature fighting stance. A giant vibrant green Yin-Yang spreads beneath the fighters. Shuyin keeps his palms out, usually both facing forward. A thin invisible barrier forms around Shuyin. The simple barrier nullifies energy attacks (Such as a kamehameha or something of that nature.) and gives him a slight resistance to physical attacks. |

| *The bullets stop in midair as they approach Shuyin. His control over magnetism was more than enough for the tiny bullets. Shuyin begins his attack before AD can recover from his slashes at Leon. He thrusts his foot out, stepping on his sword as he swings sword down diagonally. The sword gets trapped between his foot and the ground, his foot pushing down on it making lifting the sword almost impossible. Simultaneously, he bring his hand up and showers AD with a blast of Black Flame at point blank range. The flame not only flys right at AD, but because of its abundance, it completely surrounds him. The flame from Alex comes in contact with Shuyin's flame behind AD. This combination creates a devastating flame explosion that spans 25 ft. in diameter. The fire washes over Shuyin as well, however he obviously wasn't going to be harmed by his own flame. If Vulkar and Leon weren't careful, they may very well get caught in the inferno as well......*
Black Flame: An unnatural Black Flame that burns any material and evaporates water on contact.The 'Flame' is a signature of Shuyin and was perfected and honed by him over a long period of time. The Black Flame is not a normal flame, in fact its merely called a flame because its appearance mirrors normal fire. However, one will come to realize that any immunity or nullification that an opponent possesses will not work on this flame. For the 'Flame' isn't of this world, or even dimension for that matter..... |

| PLANET-DISSOLVING DUST CLOUD IS HEADED TOWARD EARTH!
Monday September 12, 2005 By MIKE FOSTER CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Scared-stiff astronomers have detected a mysterious mass they've dubbed a "chaos cloud" that dissolves everything in its path, including comets, asteroids, planets and entire stars -- and it's headed directly toward Earth! Discovered April 6 by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory, the swirling, 10 million-mile- wide cosmic dust cloud has been likened to an "acid nebula" and is hurtling toward us at close to the speed of light -- making its estimated time of arrival 9:15 a.m. EDT on June 1, 2014. "The good news is that this finding confirms several cutting- edge ideas in theoretical physics," announced Dr. Albert Sherwinski, a Cambridge based astrophysicist with close ties to NASA. "The bad news is that the total annihilation of our solar system is imminent." Experts believe the chaos cloud is composed of particles spawned near the event horizon of a black hole (a form of what's called Hawking Radiation) that have been distorted by mangled information spewed from the hole. "A super-massive black hole lies about 28,000 light-years from Earth at the center of our galaxy," explained Dr. Sherwinski. "Last year the eminent physicist Stephen Hawking revised his theory of black holes -- which previously held that nothing could escape the hole's powerful gravitational field. He demonstrated that information about objects that have been sucked in can be emitted in mangled form. "It now appears that mangled information can distort matter. "Just imagine our galaxy the Milky Way as a beautiful, handwritten letter. "Now imagine pouring a glass of water on the paper and watching the words dissolve as the stain spreads. That's what the chaos cloud does to every star or planet it encounters." To avoid widespread panic, NASA has declined to make the alarming discovery public. But Dr. Sherwinski's contacts at the agency's Chandra X-ray Observatory leaked to him striking images of the newly discovered chaos cloud obliterating a large asteroid. "It's like watching a helpless hog being dissolved in a vat of acid," one NASA scientist told Dr. Sherwinski. Ordinarily, Hawkings Radiation is harmless. "It's produced when an electron- positron pair are at the event horizon of a black hole," Dr. Sherwinski explained. "The intense curvature of space-time of the hole can cause the positron to fall in, while the electron escapes." But when "infected" by mangled information from the black hole, the particles become a chaos cloud, which in turn mangles everything it touches. "If it continues unchecked, the chaos cloud will eventually reduce our galaxy to the state of absolute chaos that existed before the birth of the universe," the astrophysicist warned. Some scientists say mankind's best hope would be to build a "space ark" and hightail it to the Andromeda Galaxy, 2.1 million light-years away. "We wouldn't be able to save the entire human population, but perhaps the best and the brightest," observed British rocket scientist Dr. David Hall, when asked about the feasibility of such a project. But even if such a craft could be built in time, evacuating Earth might prove fruitless if theories about the origin of the chaos cloud are correct. "A black hole at the center of Andromeda is about 15 times the size of the one in our own galaxy," Dr. Sherwinski noted. "It might be like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire." Speaking under the condition of anonymity, a senior White House official said the president's top science advisors are taking the findings in stride. "This is a lot like global warming, where the jury is still out on whether it's real or not," said the official. "The existence of this so called chaos cloud is only a theory.
