| I think I remember playing Guardian Legend! I think I also beat too. Can't remember almost 14 years ago.
Okay, I am Shanan, from Fire Emblem 4: Genealogy of the Holy War. Yes, I do kick butt with Balmunk and if you can read this, yes, we do have sign in Biazille (or whatever that thing is spelled!) . And if you do remember me, I might give you a special attack. Meteor Sword. (May attack the board admin. 5 time in the row.) Anyway, have fun. Drink a beer or two, we can gamble, shoot some shot glass (most of them are broken anyway) and post a lil-post-it note around the Xeogaming, you will be successful and who know, maybe a nice sexy goddess like Elara will ease your tension. *Look at Elara, and if Elara read this, Beowulf quickly run away.* Have fun, and if you don't... Who ever have to say that Light should be on science and not on magic? Why should we call Light Holy, when clearly we don't want to overrate ourselves by being a god (or make it sound like one(? Why should we call Dark Evil, as oppose to make it sound based on alignment requirement or powerful attack that tend to be overrated (hey, even Evil sound evil to me)? And here is a real question, WHY are you mixing the science with some people who are believer in magic? Why some people believe that light can mean ANYTHING? Why do darkness could mean more then just a shadow? And why do natural or unnatural holy and evil were NEVER included or mentioned in science? Why does Evil have to be involve with science, when they clearly believe that evolution exist (and how does science create evil anyway)? How does Holy ever help scientists prove their point that magic pressence doesn't exist (and how do you know that Holy was created by science, too)? This is why I see no point of separating Holy from Light since they both don't mix well with science. Same with dark and evil. Hell, you should evil chaos instead since hunger problem and green house effect may be a great example of "evil" science magic. | Good idea... except one minor problem. As usual, suppose say that I am stuck at my aunt's house (and this happened alot of time) and have NO way to contact you. How would you know that I want to post and delay so that I continue the battle later?
Or what would happened if someone was also lying about the title situation that they need to post? It just trouble me to know that if I got stuck in a mountain of homework and have no way of contacting people, what can I do in order to continue the battle? Or how do I know if most of you are thinking I am lying because I did have a valid reason to delay the battle since a problem happen? Like I got hit by a football and my hand got broken? |

| A 20-years old black-haired teenager with a mid-dark color of purple sword master robe, and a pauldron on his left shoulder appear on a balcony inside of the Caprice room. His face seems to release vibes of serious tone, leaving no room for fun and laughter. His grumpiness look as if he was very impatient about what he was dealing with. The teenager look at Ari’s reckless behavior, examining his routine. He chuckle to himself, taking a liking to Ari’s behavior.
Shanan was his name. His belt holds robe together to make it look less like a trench coat. Shanan’s long straight hairs reach to his back of his body, his hairs was pushed back behind his ears. His hairs show no sign of recent cut, growing longer as ever he want it to be. His eyes was extremely dark, probably the same color as the center of all human eyes. However, as most eyes can deceive people, he almost look female. Shanan jump on the balcony fence, with a katana on his right side. A slight curved sword is made of a material not well known but also considered to be deadly. He call it Balmunk, his own holy weapon. A rumor said that he was able to kill many without a problem, even most powerful people could not withstand Balmunk’s fury. It said that none can wield it, the power inside of the sword said to be unimaginable and lethal that one touch can sent you to the next life. But all is just a rumor. “It seem that you are my opponent today. I hope you can understand that I won’t be going easy on you, for this blade is not destroyable. I hope you can see why they call me the Sword Saint.” Shanan jump off the balcony and land on the 1st floor, suffering with no damages. He did not bend his knee, or land like most people normally would do. Perhaps that he have gotten used to jumping a lot that he can land on two feet and built up on his strength. He look at Ari warmly, and wait for his first move. |

"FUCK THEM ALL! Tee hee hee... I say, we shall screw the kings!" Well, the first part is true but I don't know if the second part is going to be any help. Makura, it doesn't matter what everyone said about you. Screw them and their opinion of you. So what? For all I cared about, isn't your personality is more than what you have or has? Isn't what you made for yourself creates you? Beside, if you are a different, then I am different (being deaf), he is different, she is different, and we are all different! Even nongender is different. The point is: No one is prefect. That what make us the same (we are human) and what make us different (we all have our feelings). So Makura, if you ever hear someone say that you are different, make the best out of it. All I care is that you and yourself have the right to do whatever you want, regardless of what you are. Kinda like that song: "Hey, I am a dude, she is a dude, he is a dude, we are all the dudes. HEY, I am a dude, she is a dude, he is a dude, we are all the dudes." |

| Shanan looked at Ari in confusion of her daughter’s where about. He was very quick to return his reply, eager to know more about Ari. He smiles at Ari without any problem, since he was mistaken for someone Ari thought he was.
“Sadly, you have the wrong guy. I am from a noble family and my sister died because of a surprise ambush.” Shanan prepares himself, keeping his distance between from Ari and his position. His eyes remained on Ari, waiting until his timing was right. When he felt a single presence from his sword, he charge at Ari with a diagonal slash downward and another diagonal slash going upward, leaping high in the air as he time it when it was half way to Ari’s body. While in mid-air and being close to the wall, he was able to press his weight down and leap over Ari, landing on a balcony. He quickly got up and turned around, to be aware of his surroundings. |

| Actually, it sound more of "Divine" to me Cyro.
I see where you are getting from, and this kinda pinned me. But know what? Aureola give me a chance to unpinned myself. And some of your spells got support me. Most of the time, I don't bother by setting everything to be more supernatural. What I am saying is, if I have a Light-based tome and called it a Holy Weapon (Aureola), where would you put that under as? If I have a Evil-based tome and also called it as a Dark Weapon, where would that goes under? Dark also happened to have some "evil" natural power, anything could happened to the user. Light also happened to have some "holy" natural power, anything could happened to the user. But I deal with natural way of life. Holy? That go under light, why? Holy may sound divine, but even Aureola is a natural power that come from anyone's soul. But when you say Evil, you can also make it based on few meaning but everyone view will change. But it can also go by common meaning and not everyone will understand how can Evil qualifies as a elemental spell. Take a look at one of your spell: ~ Luminate- (Light) A small, bright-glowing orb of light appears and erupts with a long lasting flare that illuminates a large area for a while. ~ Hate to break it, but that's Holy. You call it light. This also support my views that it can be done by natural force from your body. Since this help prove my statement, you mix the Light with Holy, resulting probably inaccurate element-based power. Not to mention it also sound very much like Aureola from two games I played. Another example of your "Holy" magic. ~ *Quasar- (Light) The ultimate light spell. A blue and green colored portal opens in front of multiple targets then blasts out a large, cloudy ray of ultra intense pure light and radiation. Undead or dark elemental targets are instantly killed. ~ Wait a second... If I remember so, you said dark was based on shades, shadow, etc.. Your Quasar would have no good effect and waste it on nothing. Since it is already a light-based spell, what would happened if you targets at a infected-zombie? Magic can't even beat something created from people. ~ *^Sanctuary (Holy) A mystical cloud comes down and surrounds the entire party, curing them of any injuries and ailments, then casts a reflect spell. ~ WHOA, whoa, whoa, whoa... Desroth said this was a light spell! How can this be holy? This attack directly BOTH (Cyro and Desroth's) statement. I don't even think it qualifies as Lightholy spell. Either Desroth should have never said it or it should have said Light instead off Holy. ~ *Black Hole- (Dark) The ultimate dark spell. A large black hole appears above multiple targets and unleashes an extreme evil force that either causes tremendous amounts of damage or sends them up inside the black hole to get crushed or torn apart. This spell usually causes instant death to targets. ~ Mmm... I see evil there. And I also see dark-based magic. Since I think this magic would be either evil or the power of death, you call it dark. Since this is dark, it probably not worth saying it's evil and every other evil-based spell too. If you think Holy and Evil should have it own elements properties, you might as well call it Divine, since half of the Holy / Light spell and Dark / Evil spell you have are mix up. Divine mean either element, but at a higher and powerful element. I hope this can set up of why evil and dark should stay as one element, since both could be a sign of negative power. Since you refer to dark to science, I can also refer dark to natural way. This might also show why I believe BOTH of us are misunderstanding each other. You failed to put in my position of what I am currently feeling about. I done that to myself to understand your feeling but I don't understand your point separating of Holy and Evil element. | I have to agree with Drizzt. A computer-generated model of Drizzt would be much easier to do, because not alot of people have that look any more.
While I think Bloom may be good, I think you might call me crazy... But I don't know if this actor is alive or not. Doug Bradley (A.K.A. Pinhead.) I am pretty sure you know him from all of those Hellraiser movies. His voices seem to be best fit for my view of Drizzt. |

| As the disturbance close on to him, Beowulf saw a slight disturbance in the air, creating a problem for him to see his opponent. It was almost impossible to see, but he closes his eyes, tried to focus on his thought. He thought of a small song in his head, like a melody made from winds that whispered into his ears.
He was very quiet, no words came out of him. The disturbance around Beowulf’s body seem to grow as stronger, making it look like he was being shredded by a furious wind velocity. The pressure around Beowulf has slowly calmed down over in time. Then a powerful gusty wind blew out violently where Beowulf was. He stood there with an aggressive look on his face, with that fire burning violently in his eyes. But he did not look like his former self. It looked as a demonic presence has awakened him from a dark slumber. His eyes looked evil and showed bloodlust red color. A scent of anger can be felt anywhere on the battlefield, a pure raw anger rose out of Beowulf’s body. He stood his ground with a devilish look on his face, staring at Sorcha. “Fine. Be that way!” From his position, he sent a wind slash at Sorcha. The small blade of wind headed toward at Sorcha at a fast pace. The edge of the winds seems extremely sharp and could slice through the forest easy. Beowulf chuckles in his amusement. He waits to see how will Sorcha fights back. |

| Desroth, you also missed the point too. Sim-battling title-holder doesn't make anyone popular. You won't be recongized for anything if you did beat Benja. Heck, beat up 50 new sim-battler won't give you a recongnition if you are pulling some cheap bitch spell out of your sleeves. Even they did, it would be a bad one.
If you want some recognition, you need to think more accurate and act fair because dodging every attacks that come to your way is extremely cheap. Or absording everything and negating every affect is also cheap too. I am not popular in sim-battle even if I DID have a middle-weight belt. Benja is not popular even he IS heavy-weight champion. Heck, I don't see Drizzt popular yet. But Cyro is popular and he doesn't have a belt title. Sparda is popular and he doesn't have any belt title. People do this for fun... But if they are really persistant on almost everything, they won't get what they want. Belt are titles. If you want some recongnition, I suggest to thinking on how to take damages without dieing so fast, and make attack that doesn't seem too overrated too. No one would like to fight a regenating sim-battler who only take small damages without realizing the big-picture. No one want to fight a sim-battler who got every attack that caused instant death. Desroth, if Spartan would have won the middleweight belt way before, he would set a HORRIBLE example. He even bypass the internal bleeding attack (which by the way, I was testing him to see if he is one of those I-can't-be-killed-so-that-mean-I-can-be-cheap.) and he probably won't get recongized for pulling some cheap tricks. I hope this set a better example of why title are just names. |

| Shanan looked at Ari behind him. He saw a spinning twister headed toward to his way, but as fast as Shanan went, he was smacked hard by Ari’s powerful roundhouse. The velocity and the law of physic sent Shanan swirling around, spewing blood until he landed hard into wall. Shanan bounced off and landed roughly on the hard cold ground. His body was widespread on the ground, but he wasn’t out of cold yet.
Shanan got up, noticing that his blood oozes out of his mouth. He wipes away with his right arm, using his clothes to clean his mouth. He kept his eyes focus on Ari, his madness won’t go away that easy. His anger expression gave the face like he was possessed by a demon. He holds his holy sword so tightly in anger, it looks like he was going to unleashes his fury all over the opponent. Shanan’s Balmunk was his divine weapon. It was in his family for generations, the weapon was made of from a crystal meteor material. The edges was extremely sharp, and it was honed to help Shanan’s father fight during the Issac War. It was aged over time, but the weapon is still in good condition. Shanan smile for having a weapon that he cherish about it. Balmunk can slice cut a diamond with a little difficulty, but the power Balmunk have is unknown secret to many. “Heh, you are good… but not good enough.” Shanan looked at Ari, his face gave off a smart aleck look, as if he already planned on what to do in his next action. He smiled with a grin. |
