| A strange demon beast look-like looked at Lena then at Sky. He looked at the very large bird-like creature and became somewhat absorbed into it. Instead thinking about his today opponent, he took a step forward toward to the Sky. He shook his head enough to ward off his attention grabber and came somewhat focus on Lena. However, upon the closer examination, you can see that his eyes are twitching just to resist on focusing Sky.
“It is a nice bird you have there. And please forgive me for not having to speak out my name. I am Lunafar… That’s LUNAFAR, and don’t you forget it.” When the beastly-like demon revealed his name, he couldn’t help himself but to focus more on Lena’s bird-like creature. Perhaps he was driven in a strange way to learn about this creature he wants to know. Taking his time to focus on the serious matter, Lunafar looked at Lena and noticed that she told him about battling him. “Are you serious, or is that bird manipulating you? Eh, it is up to you to decide whenever you fight me or not. However, whichever you pick, may I have one small request? Which you pick to fight me or not, maybe I have a example of your bird creature? This is for my studies.” |

| And it would be so funny if I.Q. became a RPG game. =P
And what Tamarin said is true. Turn-Based and Strategy don't really mix together. Why? Ogre Battle is a great example. While this game consist of COMPLETELY strategy, you can control and move your units anywhere on the maps. And while this is done, all of them move in real time (so does the enemy units too). The battle system is semi-weird, but really, you still get to control every units and move them whereever you want them to on the map. This is like real-time strategy. Hence, it is different from turn-based strategy you thought (Go, Ogre Battle!). Basically, it should look like this: Active / Turn-Based - Usually, your character stand on one spot and attack. Not much of the action is done to this game. (Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy) All you do is command the action each character do. Take turns after one whole turn is done. Semi-real time battle - Although you fight on somewhat a 3D / 2D map, your movement is somewhat limited to their movement. (Tales games still count.) They attack, but can't move everywhere you want them too. Done in real time. Real time battle - Any monster appear on the map move as you move. They can attack anytime, move anywhere, and so forth. *Dysnaty Warrior 3, Star Ocean, etc., anyone?* You can move them anywhere and done in real time. ~ ~ And by the way... Xenogears and Chrono Cross are under Active / Turn-Based game. They move around, but you can't control the character during the battle. Basically, I like real time battle. It give the urges and the funness to run around anywhere and attack anything in your way. |

Make sure Roy is attacking the enemy so that the enemy would fly off to the far (away) screen. If lucky, the opponent won't be flying all the way to the opposite side and lose a point for. And he does about 40-50% of the damages for that, IIRC. And yes, it was Giga Bowser, Mewtwo, and Ganondorf who fight in you in the last event stage. |

| Beowulf took a quick examination, noticing that a beam was heading toward to his way. While in mid-air, he slides to his left as the beam passed by. Looking at Xeios and his quick argument with his father, he floats there as he didn’t care of what they are discussing. No matter, Apocalypse just wants to end it now. It doesn’t matter if they are having a father/son relationship. He never had a son to begin with… Or was it? Apocalypse has been inpatient, waiting for his resurrection on the day of his reign. But something was kept a secret about him.
Taking focus on his battle, Apocalypse noticed that Xeios have revealed his card out. Quickly, it was headed toward to his way, but as in a flash of light, Beowulf quickly drew his sword, and slashed the card in half without any problem. He gave a fierce look at Xeios, expressing or revealing his innermost evil being. His eyes seem no longer once it was before. His body became of something that is entirely different. He gave no signs of response, for a belief moment. He took his sword and placed it back into his sheath. He did not smile, or gave any expression but float there as if he was ruler of the world. The personality of his father might have confused Beowulf for someone else, but this does not seem like Beowulf at all… He looks angry, full of hatred, and lonely… No matter for him. He charged at Xeios with his right claws rising in air, soon before he gets close to Xeios, it was covered in black flame (shadow flare). In close ranges, Beowulf slashes his claws downward at Xeios’ head multiple times. Soon, after about 7 strikes, Beowulf then would take flight again and if possible, avoid endangering himself for exposing his slight weakness. Shadow Flare – Beowulf’s father attack. Since the power focus more on Beowulf’s father, Beowulf himself could not use it more efficiently. The power built up on Beowulf’s hatred or negative energy, allowing him (Beowulf’s father) to control it without any problem. The dark orb formed in his palm, expanding in size as he close in to his opponent. The orb transformed into dark shadowy flame that covered his claws, making it into his lethal weapon. The attack can strike through a body, damaging anything within the body damaging anything the claw touch. This can even leave the skins outside perfectly intact, as if nothing damages it. The shadowy flame can not only strike the body within, but capable of making the victim feels that part of his or her life energy was sucked away. The shadowy flame can also go through a object but the physical part of the body can not go any further when the non-shadowy area hit a object. |

| I know this is asking too much but I noticed that about 4 users used my Fire Emblem 6 sprite and I was kinda surprised to see them.
Okay, next up... What about me? Many people think I am the new guy who ridiculously posts super-fast in like 1 second whenever I have a name change. And SO FAR, it saved me from petty identify theft. *Nods.* Beside, if you know a person clearly, you shouldn't forget a person "ID" that is located in the address bar link. Example: You can easily tell that Xeogred have a ID of 1, Beowulf (me) have the ID of 4, Makura the ID of 237, etc. You get the idea. Beside, who doesn't like a name change if you don't feel it is getting somewhat good. For example, why Shanam (accurately spelled correctly?) when I could have Shanan and not Beowulf? Beowulf was named from a book and everyone is going to say: No, it's Beowulf from Fire Emblem 4, Final Fantasy Tactic, etc. etc. and everything goes to hell during that point. |

| As Xeios lunged forward with his two swords to Beowulf, Beowulf took a look behind him, almost realized that he could be hit almost at anytime. Beowulf flapped his wings aggressively and began to shield his body as soon when Xeios. Soon the weapons hit the shadowy wings, but it went through it. One of the weapons was struck, as if it hit on something hard. Another weapon seem to be pushed away, redirecting away from Beowulf’s body. It could not be accurately revealed of what Beowulf did behind his wings and soon he pulled back his wings. There, it revealed that the sword stop one of the weapon in its track, and push the other by its blade. Beowulf smiled at his skilled swordsmanship. It takes a high reflex skills and a keen sense of abilities to communicate between the swords itself and the body that lies within.
Beowulf pushed back the weapon, then quickly went into mid-air before Xeios get another chance to fight back. When he got to mid-air, he turned around and focuses on Xeios, who shouted at Beowulf. “Beo, if you are still alive, snap out of this, your father is controlling your body, I do not want to kill you, but you may leave me no choice.” Whether it was Beowulf who was listening to Xeios’ or Apocalypse who was chuckling to himself in amusement, Beowulf did not response. Shortly after he pulled back his wings, the eyes became somewhat green, although it looks a little pale. Soon, his left side robe became to become strained with red color. Blood, he somehow took damage to his left side hip. It wasn’t fully wounded although a small cut like that did bleed a lot. But how did he have the wound in the first place? He stop one weapon completely in a track and pushes away another. However, as the cut recovered in short matter of time, Beowulf’s eye reveals a flicker of pain. He was enduring it. He began to speak again… But however, a voice became somewhat familiar. “Ugh… you should really be careful on how you used your weapon effectively. The next you do that; I could strike down toward to your heart when you strike those two weapons at me. Heck, I could even push two of them away if I want to… But you got lucky…” Beowulf looks down, as he still enduring the pain that Xeios struck before. He was lucky. If Xeios strike where the vital organ was, Beowulf would in a paralyze state and even Apocalypse could not assist him… “Just a moment when Apocalypse used his sword to protect me, another weapon was heading my way… I could knock both of them apart if I were me but… Ugh…” Beowulf places his left hand on his left hip, trying to relax the muscle so that he could endure it easy enough. The wound wasn’t fully healed. The impact of the damages has heavily damages him in a way, but Beowulf could still fight even if he can’t use his left arm for a while. His eyes closed for a while, to endure the pain but still be able to stand up. Soon, his shadowy wing began to revert back to it original form. |

And I'm Shanan, the super identify changer, with a good sense of different varies of accent, and no, there is no anthrax in my bagel. Yes, I am best friend with Sety, seeing how he took my weapon bonus. And I am Sety, The Best Sage who would kick everyone ass because my stat is too superior and I am level 14, and I am almost impossible to be kill because I got a evasion of 150, meaning that no matter how much you want to hit me, it is impossible to hit me. |

| While I think it is a good idea, Sparda, but what I see wrong in this tournament is that beside fighting, there are no "magical attack." Only technique. What do I mean?:
1.) While fighting bare fist to bare fist, it would be long and boring if both of them are as fast as cheetah and fight until either one side die. Give it a environment change, and causes them to change their plan. It would be no fun if you let them fight in the same area with just bare weapon. 2.) Since no magic is involved, having to use melee technique is fairly enough. But if given that both side have a shield and a weapon, they could alway say "I attack your behind" while they fully negate attack on the front. In the other words, if this is a battle between two people with fists to fists, they are most likely to dodge and stuff. Set some real time experience. Example: If a war hammer is used against a shield, depending on whatever the power and the defense the shield have, they could break it. This way, you don't have to see that everyone is defending them and blocking every attack. 3.) Based on real time style and environment, you must give it a feeling where the environment itself take both side as a disadvantage. For example: If two fighters are fighting on a volcano, the volcano can also break down some rocks and make the battle field smaller. They can't make up an excuses for leaping 100 miles away just to get on another stone. Give it some action. 4.) Melee should fight with Melee, while ranged should fight with ranged. Don't mix ranged with melee, as both side are bound to be cheap at some point. If you are going to make a ranged battle, make it that they invented a platform that you can control on, but is restricted on how much you can do on that platform. Example: Two players are given a platform, while one get his, another get his own. They control this platform but can't set up a shield barrier or the like. They can move around it, shoot the platform (in order to lower more fuel or to let them lose control for a while) or hide somewhere in the cloud. Get the idea? This way, you don't have to make one battle at the same place where they attack or defend or evade. Heck, you can control these environment and sometime, randomly to force a player take damages on a account with environment event. Example: If one was charging at another sim-battler, and they are in a Rome-like Arena, you can say that a lion appear from a platform, attack a player and they must be careful if they haven't decided to kill a lion. Why? Because the lion CAN STILL attack those two sim-battlers. This is kinda my idea, seeing how I don't want it to be fist to fist, weapon to weapon, and so on... So what do you think of my idea, Sparda? |

| I got the shield from the "rule" and other area that are most likely to have them... in cases the armor is allowed. Sometime, using a warhammer against a shield isn't bad idea since a sword may be bounce off against a steel shield but a warhammer? It gotta break if it received enough damages.
Beside, what good enough if a sim-battler have a rapier but nothing to defend with? She/He would be exposed to alot of damages and evasion isn't going to save him/her. Beside, there are SOME areas that must likely to have a shield. A two-handed weapon (warhammer, two-handed sword) are most likely to break shield, a balanced weapon would have a average stat, a thrusting weapon (like lance and rapier) would be great for a precise aim and speed but lack in power and defensive, and slashing would be more damaging, but lack in precise accurately. To put it this way, think as "Gladiator" tournament. It would be easier to have weapon and shield but magic is restricted. Weapon technique (such as multiple thrusting or a dance-beat combo strike could count. As long as there are no magic involve with them.) |

| Well, alot of people are in "no social life" situation, so it is prefectly natural for that. Although we can complain about it, sometime we are just going to be old and have our daily schedule. Life is a bitch as we know it. That why we love it and hate it.
Basically, I don't have a social life because: 1.) I am not your socialable talking type of guy. I am more of a private person... 2.) I don't display good sportmanship in video games. 
3.) I am very shy... I tend to avoid people until I get used to them (which takes some couple hours so it isn't really a major problem.) 4.) I tend to be somewhat... scared everyday in my life. I alway wanted to avoid cruelity and harsh reality. But that's will happened everyday and I alway get scared... 5.) I also tend to get bad feeling or uneaseness whenever things are about to go wrong, and I felt like everyone in the world hate me. When that happened, I always try to tell people what could happened or that some danger is coming but I never feel that you guys would honestly trust me if I said that. 6.) Everytime I tried to make some friends (by putting my effort into it.) , they usually talk about my brother and that really made me feel left out. This made me feel everyone like my brother more they cared about me. I have feeling too... Yeah... everyday, I alway wake up scared. Scared of what will happened to my life, to my future, to what I want to do... But all I could do is, just accept the facts that there are people who have the same problem and just do your best at being yourself. That's all of the advice I could offer. Life may be cruel, but you should thanks that there are some people who DO care... Yes... being... sleepy... is... another... sto~~ *snoring, while he is sleeping* |

Beowulf didn’t want his opponent to expect that he is planning to dual-wield two weapons at the same time. He opened his eyes, releasing a scent of clam nature around him. But his eyes tell a different tales… when he looks at his opponent. His blonde hair seems to fall back at some point. His hair reach to the top of his shoulder, but some on his back of his head were pulled back to make a ponytail. There was still some that still sticking out of Beowulf’s head, but he look different with a new style of his hair. There was no winds or anything, but both him and his opponent are stuck inside of a dome. There was a nearby crowd cheering both of them on. The mixed cheers rooted for either side, wanting a bloody battle, or what it seems to be in Beowulf’s view. No hard feeling, he thought. But he could not say another word if he wants to, yet. He found that Desroth have something to say. "Where are you Beowulf, this fight will determine once and for all who can win in a straight fight. But don’t worry, this will be only 1 fight we will fight to the end, don’t think that either of us will be better then the other if one of us wins." So he got manner… Or what Beowulf thought. He never like his opponent if they would speak words louder then they can do in action. Not only that, but Beowulf always gave the feeling of fighting honorable and with courage, but something made Beowulf feel somewhat confused. Was Desroth being somewhat caring about his opponent or does he cared about fighting? Beowulf knows that it has been a long time he has since his last battle against Cairoi. This time, Beowulf was unsure to fight honorable, or just be himself. Beowulf took a step forward to Desroth. He knows that in this battle, there are more then just pure friendships. Will there be a cold dish to be served or will there be a battle of honor? Beowulf smiled. “Greeting, Desroth. I would like to say that it is an honor to fight you now… And no, I do not think ill of my opponent. They deserved to be treated equal as I treat myself.” With Beowulf’s calm words, he bows before him. This way, he knows that he will be fighting with honor and probably traditionally. His hands, having sharp talons instead of fingernails, seem to be shaking at some point when he speaks at his opponent. He already has his Apocalypse out, but something seems too weird for his weapon. With one of his weapon hiding in Beowulf’s holster and Apocalypse in Beowulf’s hand, Beowulf stood there, waiting for Desroth. (Last edited by Shanan on 09-12-05 06:32 PM) |

BIC: Even Desroth probably already has insulted him or sort of feeling of being insulted, Beowulf didn’t care. He believed that Apocalypse was a duplicate weapon, probably a fake to begin with. Not sure if Desroth believe him or not, Beowulf place Apocalypse back into his empty right holster. He took out the other weapon with his right claw. When he pulls out the hilt from his left holster, there it was… But it was not as it seem. The hilt was master craft made. Its mystic properties and meteor-like material was designed flawlessly and yet near prefect, that it could be wield by anything. But any higher above the hilt was a gust of wind. Nothing, there was no blade, not even a single inch of sharp edge. Beowulf looked as he was depressed or something but kept a hidden look. He knows that holding a weapon with no blade is useless, so he place it back into his left empty holster. Whether unsure of Desroth’s expression or opinion, he looked at him, with his eyes that seem confuse with wisdom. Beowulf think that his opponent is madly driven by a evil force, but began to question him. “Are you excusing me to wield a wrong weapon or is it that you don’t trust your opponent? I thought it would prove more then enough to show what I can do. But… the way I see it, you don’t seem to care effectively about your opponent.” When Desroth held out his Arzul, Beowulf stood there as if he was not scared. His face seems to be saddened, but still continues to looks at Desroth. He concentrates everything on Desroth and the fierce winds did not stop him. His hair began to move along with the wind’s current, flying upward in the air. He smiled when Desroth have his weapon in the soul form, but his eyes seem to give off a strange vibe. His eyes seem to hold the flame of passion. He was at ease, yet a little afraid of facing Desroth head on. However, his passion of fighting against his opponent will never fade away. Whether they are evil or not, he always seems to learn a thing or two and develop a calm behavior. He met some worthy opponent, but never seen one that could be fairly strong against him. Whether Beowulf could achieves a better result of this battle or not, he would never forget this. Beowulf shook his head. The time was now, a battle between the two warriors that could forever change the history. Beowulf was prepared already, yet he waits patiently to determine if his opponent is yet ready. He did not want to engage head-on, he want to see what would Desroth do. He smiled, just as he waited for his opponent to come. “Desroth… please show what you can do.” He speaks so politely and still remained in a calm position. | Beowulf took a deep breath. When he saw Desroth running away, he was not sure if he was to ready an attack. But when he saw Desroth turned again, he told Beowulf about his other form. Not sure what he meant, he believed that BOTH of them are annoying enough. But when Desroth began to set his attack, Beowulf was prepared. He looked at Desroth’s movement, observing one after another and identifies his attack. When Desroth began to fall toward to Beowulf, Beowulf has enough time to dive under him and attack from behind.
He leaps forward, and distanced himself to avoid his Hawk Dive radius. Keeping a few feet away from his estimated position, he was safe and the Hawk Dive has missed. Lucky for Beowulf, he was all prepared to launch a counterattack. But he chooses to miss this opportunity and wait for Desroth to prepare himself again. While the crowd was surprised that Desroth’s Hawk Dive technique was dangerously powerful, they were disappointed on how Beowulf did not fight back. Beowulf ignores the crowd’s booing and believed that there are more then just fighting. He relaxes himself, waiting for a correct time. True enough, Beowulf could have take an upper hand with a counter attack, but then Desroth could counter it and put Beowulf into checkmate. His face seems to be normal, probably that he kept his emotion to himself. He smiled at his opponent, agreeing to himself that he seem good enough for someone to spar with. Taking his moments, he was curious about one thing. “Desroth, what make you think I was waving a toy at you?” Unaware of Desroth’s second form, they both seem alike. He did not notice the changes in Desroth, and wasn’t fully aware of the position he was in. True, he was close to the crowd and almost put his life on a line when Desroth used his Hawk Dive, but Beowulf was good enough to give himself in the position where he could take an upper hand. He looks around to see that given that his area has no sign of protection or place to hide, there was innocents’ bystander here. Perhaps… Taking his moments, Beowulf began to focus on the wind. It was calm and cold; his hair move along with the current, and the robe was surely flapping back and forth. A gentle ease came across his face, as he was relaxed and psyched up. His eyes gave the symbol of passion. He may be a half-demon, but his personality was more then what made him. He may be a god’s son, but that does not make him evil.
