Not really advertising, as such, but created this video as a marketing/blackmail ploy. Plus, you get to see all three cars I've owned in the past 7 years:

Very interesting information, coming from the thirteen-year-old that created the video. (Not me).

wow...shaving of the balls. Don't think i'd ever try that. I trim, but don't shave. If my man doesn't like the hair, then I don't need to have that man. Unless, of course, he wants to do it for me...

Look at them.

Walking around in their swimsuits, so content with the warmth of the afternoon sun whilst I stand watching them from my third-story window. The cursor blinks on the empty digital canvas awaiting something, anything that could possibly be considered intelligent dribble.

But, them.

They strut around the pool, having their fun while I stare at the blinking cursor on the laptop, the blinking cursor on the Pocket PC, the blinking cursor in my mind. My gaze shifts for just a moment, to the metal case on the upper portion of the closet. Within, an airsoft gun rests in the padding. Lucky for them, the batteries have died and I have no desire to move the batteries from the wireless mice to the guns. Nor do I have ammunition, or the desire to walk out to the car to acquire more.

Fresh air, that's what I need. That'll end my writer's block slump. But, I detest being in the courtyard of my apartment building. Like a fishbowl from all the other floors, you're put on display to the rest of the tenants, often forced into awkward conversation with another tenant. That, and my keycard isn't working, so I'd have to use the stairs instead of the elevator.

I could stand to lose a few pounds, though. I'm not content with the figure I see in the mirror. And, while modeling my body to myself in the full length mirror, I catch sight of the blinking cursors in the reflection. It returns, the blockage.

Maybe, just maybe, I can draw inspiration from my personal life. I mean, I've done it before. "Hacker Assassin" was that. So, why not this.

I curl up on the bed, and silently scream into my pillow. Dammit. Now, it's wet. Fuck.

A gas out wouldn't work. The simple fact being that every person does not fuel up everyday, so even if everyone in the country stopped for a day, it wouldn't be a huge hit to the industry.

The methodology doesn't work. I didn't fuel up on the 15th because I didn't have to. Car was filled up three days before. I didn't end up refueling until around the 20th. In order for this to even succeed, we'd have to stop fueling, as a nation, for at least a period of a month. Which, in our transportation driven society, is pretty much a long shot.

Posted on 06-10-07 05:57 PM, in Letters to TMC Link
Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing in concern of my recent voyage aboard the AeroTrain from San Angeles to Edge City. A little background, first. I'm an historian specializing in Terran cultures of their late 20th century and early 21st century. As a result of my findings, I have found our systems of transportation to be more impersonal than that of primitive Terran.

In question is my recent trip across the Great Ocean via the Mainland-Paradox Island SubTrain Tunnel aboard one of your AeroTrains. While the trip did allow me to make my engagements on time, I was quite disappointed at the lack of presence by your TMC personnel. I do understand that all of the trains have always been unmanned since their inception, including having automated stations, but it seemed a little impersonal to not have the presence of at the very least, a TMC regulations officer aboard.

In all the years of traveling aboard this mode, I have only seen a TMC regulations officer once on a midnight trip out of Edge City bound for Oakridge City. I do understand that Night Squadron is deployed within the City at night to protect its buildings from the night dwellers, but even the presence of Night Squadron on the trains would be appreciated.

Yours,
Dr. Yulef Suraj
University of San Cremento

Dear Dr. Yulef Suraj:

We thank you for your recent correspondence to our head office in Downtown Edge City. While we appreciate your comments, we regretfully inform that we cannot appease your concerns. Our personnel no longer maintains a position outside of TMC regulations officer that would fulfill your antiquated Terran desires. And, while the trains appear to be unmanned, they are actually piloted by TMC officers remotely from the Edge City TMC Tower.

As you may know, TMC has a greater control of all tranportation on Earth II, which also includes surveying new areas and finding more cost- and environmental-efficient solutions to moving the denizens of Earth II about the planet.

Sincerely,
Mary T'klev
Senior Transportations Control Supervisor
Transportation Mobility Commission - Mainland Division

To whom it may concern:

I have been a long traveler through the Tunnel between the Mainland and Paradox Island, using my own vehicle rather than the AeroTrain to cross its vast expansion. Recently, after being delayed within the tunnel for a period of one hour due to a system malfunction, and resulting non-fatal accident, I had enough time to analyze a possible alternative to the automated transit one experiences in their personal Type III compliant vehicles.

Since malfunctions in any system are inevitable, and while protection are in place accidents will still occur, could it be avoided altogether to allow each denizen to pilot their own vehicles through the tunnel?

Curious,
Alexander Milano
Bank of San Angeles

Dear Mr. Milano:

It seems that you have failed to calculate all possible reasons as to why we do not, and have never allowed non-automation compatible vehicles into the tunnel, let alone to allow denizens to pilot their own vehicles. As you may already know, the tunnel spans a distance of approximately 600 miles underwater across the Great Ocean, and shares its space with both directions of the SubTrain.

Through TMC automation, we are able to regulate traffic into a steady flow of 150 miles per hours through the tunnel for vehicles; 300 miles per hour through the tunnel for trains. Since the system is fully aware of each vehicle progressing through the tunnel, it is far easier to regulate the flow of traffic by allowing the system to move vehicles through it. If we allowed all drivers to pilot their own vehicles, the system would inevitably fail, producing wait times only rivaled by freeway systems of 20th century Terran.

We are sorry that we cannot fulfill your request, but we will supply a credit to your Tunnel Access account to remedy the inconvenience of your trip.

Sincerely,
Scott Tulev
TMC Access Accounts Maintenance

Dear TMC:

I am writing because other communications to your headquarters have proved to be quite futile. I am canceling my account for Tunnel Access as well as AeroTrain Pass as I no longer have a need or desire to use your monopolizing services.

Thank you,
Agent J'cob Ur'lve
Harbor West Transportation Services

Dear Harbor West:

We are sorry to lose your account services aboard two of our most utilized public tranportation systems. We hope to provide further services with our remaining three mediums in the future.

Because, we know that every single person on this planet has to get somewhere sometime, and will inevitably require the services of TMC.

Regretfully yours,
Sr. Engineer Markus Waltham
TMC Special Accounts Maintenance

Attention All AeroTrain Pass Holders:

Starting next Monday, your AeroTrain Passes will be automatically integrated with your IdentiCard, effectively phasing out a separate AeroTrain Pass. Your old passes can be deposited into a collection bin at each AeroTrain station, and at that time your IdentiCard will display a TMC ATP logo each time you board an AeroTrain medium. If your IdentiCard does not display the ATP logo while aboard the train, and you have a valid subscription, please contact TMC Accounts Maintenance as soon as possible.

The standard fine for not possessing a valid pass while aboard TMC transporation mediums remains at 50 credits and a cancellation of transportation access for a period of up to one week.

For your convenience, the AeroTrain stations in San Angeles and Edge City will display the ATP logo for verification purposes only during the first week of the conversion. At this time, patrons are welcome to report issues without risking fines and isolation.

Thank you,
Transportation Mobility Commission - Edge City, Paradox Island

Have you ever seen an iPod commercial? Do you understand how their marketing has decided on having bright colors for their intervening titles, let alone the standard commercial of bright colored backgrounds with silhouetted people?

I think not.

1) I'm fat.
2) I was on my bed
3) I should have used the green screen.
4) It should have been composed in After Effects, but I was lazy, and I still have a job to do which requires my skills elsewhere (hence, Project 13, why it didn't look professional, since it is just for fun...i'd like to see you do better).
5) Vulkar: you should have realized by now that I am a weirdo, not so much the coolness people think I am. Unless coolness is defined by driving a minivan with an "Evil Inside" magnet on it while dressed as the BREW Ninja, with a BREW NJA license plate, on a trip to CostCo.

And, unless you've watched all 70 or so of my videos, you haven't seen strange. Except for the one where I'm just pissed off about a speeding ticket. That one isn't strange. A little disturbing, but only if you know me.

Anyway, I'm off on a tangent now. I'd take the time to actually create the commercial as it should be made, but there's that whole thing about being an adult and having a job to do and all that other junk.

That, and I'd rather be playing SimCity 4, or Wolfenstein, or filming a fake iPod commercial with an LG VX8500 White Chocolate phone.

I don't actually own an iPod, I don't ever want an iPod, this was just to make fun of the commercial. Therefore, it might be why the titles were done so sloppily. Why am I gonna consume precious processing time and power to make quality looking titles. They are just fucking titles. Ok, I'm done.

It doesn't take a long time for me to get into the mindset of a typical denizen of Earth II when I don't have to actually fall into the mindset of a main character. That's when it becomes work. Having to stay within a realm that is true to the characters and their interactions as a whole.

I was bored, so I decided to create a mirror/floating OS environment.

The second half of the video requires more fine-tuning, so I only give you the first half.

The joys of Doctor Who cosplay and Comic Con 2007:

Comic Con 2007 Photo Set

So much fun to walk around as an agent of U.N.I.T in the intense heat of downtown San Diego [sarcasm].

I don't forget you guys, I'm just totally incredibly busy every single day. I even had to work a maximum of an hour per day while I was on vacation at Comic Con.

I've spent the better half of the last two years searching for another Giant Stitch plush. At first, it was merely for my amusement to have two. But, now, one of my coworker buddies is getting married, and I know that his fiancee would love to have a giant Stitch of her own. So, I implore you, great dwellers of the intarwebs, please help me locate one. I'm willing to pay up to $150 for the thing, including any "I found it" rewards. Please repost this video as well, to anywhere you can.

I'm pretty much desperate, they're wedding is on November 17th.

And, this proves that I have not fallen off the face of the planet, I merely have a demanding working life now:

Thanks for trying, anyway. There were so many, there's no way they were all just destroyed. Someone has to be selling one somewhere, but then, I wouldn't think of selling mine.

Ah, well, I'm not going to give up just yet...

If anything, at least repost the video somewhere.

I used to work for Disneyland Resort, I can just go myself. Although, it is hard since I'm not going down until Thanksgiving. I will check the resort, well, call the resort, myself. It's not Nagis' Disney.

Anyway, I can get one for cheap as well, I still have friends that work for Disneyland. But, I wanted to avoid the whole having to actually go to the Resort.

Still looking, though. And Rogue, is that Baby Pirate toon anywhere online? I wanna show my coworkers.

However, I do doubt that the Disneyland Resort, including Downtown Disney, would have the giant plush Stitch as they were a Disney Store exclusive, and the merchandise is not interchangeable between the different entities (since Disney Store is no longer owned or operated by Disney; it's parent company is the Children's Place), and having worked retail at Disneyland, I know that statement to be a fact.

I will still check, though. Maybe they have a different equivalent version. I didn't realize my big Stitch was so rare.

Ok, good. I've saved a copy and downloaded the 113MB MPEG just in case.

Anyway, I'm pretty much hoping on acquiring a bootleg giant Stitch now, but I'll keep looking.

The bride-to-be was so flattered by the video alone, that she's happy with just that as her wedding present. I'd still like multiple Stitches, though.

Oh, and Rogue, we need to talk about flight times/dates and airfare.

You could always become a QA Tester. It does require the ability to communicate coherently in writing, and find bugs. And, you can do both.

I've only seen one bootleg giant Stitch, and it was a picture of one sitting in a car in Japan. Wanna hit Downtown Disney with me when I drive down for Thanksgiving?
