The Core. Probably not the worst I've seen, but it's the fastest that comes to mind.

All time favorite movie, and how many times have you seen it in theaters (not counting DVDs or any other media)?

If you plan on doing the art stuff, Mac. Hands down. I'm a long-time PC user, and I have all that software on my PC, but I miss doing it all on the Mac. Way more capable machine for that purpose. Still good to keep a PC around, though.

But, with the new Intel duo-core Macbooks, you really don't need a PC if you're going to run Parallels or some other Windows Virtual Machine.

I miss my Macbook, but it wasn't really mine, it was Yahoo's, and that went back to them when I left the company. It was a sweet machine, top of the line Macbook Pro with 4GB of RAM, the Windows Virtual Machine, and all the lovely little pieces of software for work and pleasure.

But, I'm still back at my PC for now, since Macs are really expensive, and I'm not willing to shell out $2K for a laptop when I can just build a better PC.

It doesn't really come down to Mac vs. PC. It comes down to Mac OS vs. Windows OS vs. Linux/UNIX OS. The machine itself is pretty irrelevant. Just stay away from Vista if you can.

Most people don't really need Windows anyway. If you're doing the basic Office stuff, then you really don't need Windows.

And, I like the Virtual Machine. Don't need a dual-boot on a Mac. Much prefer to have the Mac OS for the purpose of UNIX/Linux and other stuff it does.

But, I don't have a Mac anymores. I have my Toshiba. And my Toughbook with Fedora.

Stop using my real identity. How am I supposed to be an assassin if you keep using my name?

But, she knows I suck in bed, and we never went to bed.

And, to be fair, my boys know I suck in bed, but they want that...haha suck.

Still, funny, but I'm a little bit tired right now.

Not counting Facebook and my close circle of friends, I'd have to say that the last person I ran into from high school was about five years ago at the airport. It didn't really matter that I saw them or not, I couldn't avoid it because I was still TSA at the time, so meh.

CSI, CSI: NY, or CSI: Miami?

That's if you can find XP. Dell charges extra just to retrograde to XP.

Personally, Vista can suck it. I'm not budging away from XP until they fix all the issues with Vista. And, if I wanted a Mac clone interface, I'd just get a Mac.

Irfanview is freeware, but I use Photoshop and Illustrator because I need more control than what Irfanview provides. I do have Irfanview on my computer, but it's just there for image captures. Not really for anything else. I can accomplish everything else needed in Paint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, and (believe it or not) Microsoft Picture dealie and Powerpoint.

Not a clue, and while I can look it up, I really don't care.

What's the longest you've ever had a plant?

My mom is going on 8 years with a plant I won at some door raffle, and I'm at about seven months with a bamboo plant I picked up while still working at LimeLife. Possibly a bit longer.

Not as of late, but I have in the past. I'm sure the internets affords me stalkers of some breed, but I wouldn't really know about them at all.

I haven't stalked anyone either.

Ok.

Well, I did place a printed banner dealie on my car today, for the No on 8 thing. Went to Target, came back, and it was gone, with a note written in the dust of my back window reading "Go Home Fag". Yeah, that makes sense.

But, it was a test. I don't want to stick things on my car exactly for that reason. So, instead, I place them in my window on the second floor neatly out of having-to-make-an-effort's way.

Still, such degree of attention for something. I honestly don't think it would be mitigated by a McCain dealie, much more likely for McCain fans to beat up an Obama-ite than the other way around.

And "Go Home Fag"? What? I was at bloody Target, of course I'm going home after that.

I decided to conduct a little experiment today in a public place.

I printed out a capture of this particular bumper sticker: Bin Laden 'Yes on 8' and attached it with tape to the rear bumper of my car. I then drove to Target to browse for nothing in particular.

After about half-an-hour, I returned to find only the tape with a few scraps of the paper left behind, and a "Go Home Fag" message scrawled into the dust on my rear window.

Anyway, if this is going to be the response, I'd rather not endanger the safety of myself and my car around close-minded folk by placing things on my car. My window on the second floor of our apartment, that's okay.

Albeit, the "sticker" was a bit offensive, but I chose it for that purpose specifically. Granted, I'm happy that whomever did it didn't stick around until I returned to my car. Not that I'd walk near my car if anyone were around it. Maybe set off the panic button thing. Call police. Other things.

It smells like charcoal outside, so I'm off to make something to eat that won't be too harmful to my cholesterol level. On a side note, animating myself is hard. And, the minivan back window has been washed, and the tape removed. Now, it just needs to be washed again for the layer of pollen and select blotches of bird poo. OOH!! A SQUIRREL!! HAHAHA.

Tis true. But it all comes down to budget costs and needs. You may get the best system that you'd like to have for whatever Spartan says he can get you, but rather that get things you don't/won't need, consider your needs first.

Develop what you want to do with the machine, what you expect to do with it, and whether you want to upgrade in a few years or just buy a new one when the time comes. Figure out if you want a laptop or desktop, and access what you need.

No matter what, I still think $2000+ is too much for any system, unless you expect to use everything on that system. I'd never be able to justify spending that much on anything, and I own several computers. I don't have my Macbook Pro anymore, because it was a $2.5K machine that was provided to me by Yahoo. It went back to them when I left the company. I loved the machine, but it was used for work purposes and a bit of my personal creative stuff. In the end, I wouldn't get a Mac because of the price. I can get a comparable PC for less. Way less.

But, again, it is all up to you, and no pressuring or sales tactics from anyone should ever influence what your investments should be, and a true friend would figure out the best for you without spending that much money.

Which is probably why I'm still free tech support to all my friends. I charge family.

We're on second floor facing the street, so my "No on 8" signs are there. And the last comic and the next comic animation are of the "No on 8" variety.

Ben wants to go "Yes" sign vandalizing, but another friend told me that doing that just ends up helping their campaign because they'll just buy another sign. I figure it's better to keep doing the "No on 8" as much as possible.

And, it's quite annoying that for a place like gay haven San Francisco Bay Area, I still have to live with the possibility of idiocy all around.

I was bored and made an animation instead of the normal webcomic. Animation took longer, so I'm not doing that again. Maybe I should stop having bright ideas while I'm hungry:
