Yep, you're geeky enough for us. Maybe they've had a rash of trolls and thought you were one. Geeks just love power, so yeah. Most of the time they're geeky douches.

Let me join just for the hell of it. I wanna see if I get popped off.

I need a name change history. I forget who you are.

And my assassin apprentice obviously failed. Milk is bad for you; sign of weakness.

But, I can work with that. How 'bout sometime this year while you're sleeping? Or awake, I don't mind an epic fight.

Hint for readability, try broader spaces in between paragraphs and quotations. Online readability is key to holding a reader.

The entire second section was a pain to read. If you're not going to have a purpose to a whole conversation, it's best to summarize it as non-conversation. Less is more. Otherwise, it's unnecessary banter that just makes the reader go puh, what the hell?

I like your attempt at first person omniscient, and feel that it has quite a bit of potential, if you shy away from blatantly telling the reader what is happening. "He is standing by the door, waiting for us to go upstairs" seems unnecessary. That's fine, but I don't think it's a good observational sentence conducive to moving the story forward.

Try to avoid common-use similes and clichés. "He stands head-and-shoulders above...us". There are other ways to convey height in a more impactful way. I'd say, if you kill the unnecessary dialogue or make it more meaningful, even in a foreshadowing way, you've got a greater story.

Great story, though. Hard to write for the subject matter, of which I won't give away here to preserve for any other readers.

I'm all three. Dork, nerd and geek.

Also, haven't been blocked from the forum, so I guess I'm okay. Although, I haven't done anything to contribute to it either.

Redundant drives (1.5 TB), hard copies and burned data, as well as online backup of my most important data.

I'm not a dork, I've suffered through meaningful loses. Not mine, personally, but restoring an entire SQL database for work was a fun endeavor when our remote colo crashed and took the entirety of our server backup with it.

Me losing my important docs (about 20GB) is nothing. I back those up regularly because I know drives fail. They do not last forever. Ever. I used to go through a loss every six months on my old laptop because the drive could only last about that long, so I'm used to it and it's no big anymore. With the ability to back up data onto a disc, online, or to another HDD, it's not a big thing.

It's just a matter of actually doing it that falls upon the user.

You can't use wikipedia for credibility. It's a place for hosting stuff that can be edited by anyone, so it's not academically (or for my purposes) credible.

I wish I could participate in a post thingy again, but I ended up growing up. I didn't mean to, it just kind of happened. I'm sorry, guys.

Whitey's way bigger now.

And there are still videos of him on my Ustream. At least until I can do other things.

But, I'm in a bit of a depression right now, my own webcomic makes me sad, and I just power through schoolwork because every other creative venture leaves me feeling inadequate and useless.

This also stems from my 7 months of unemployment and being graded sub-par on assignments. I understand that I'm not doing stuff up to my full potential, but it just sucks to have my depression triggered.

I guess he figured his school was just nerdy enough not to figure it out.

Which is funny, because a friend of mine just had a meeting of some sort with Patton Oswalt. He's got pics with him on his Facebook.

Well, I've already worked for them, but that was six years ago as a third-party employment situation through Apple One employment. Now, at least, I'm working for them directly, but still in a temporary capacity.

Who is this company?

Activision | Blizzard.

And as a new hire gift, I got a free year subscription to World of Warcraft. I don't play, I don't have a desire to play, and all of my compies can't handle it (they're all work-specific machines or UNIX-based), so I'm left with the dilemma of who to give a whole year of free subscription on WoW.

It's a weird dilemma, but I'll figure it out. I just don't want the gift to be wasted on people that just want to try it out. Because, what if you don't like it? That's a wasted free year.

Anywho, as usual, I cannot really say what game I'm working on or which platform, but I am going to an Activision | Blizzard E3 Launch Party on Monday night at Staples Center in LA. Couldn't actually make it to E3 this year, but perhaps next year. After all, I still qualify for entry as a video games and entertainment media professional.

So, I can buy up to 25 Activision | Blizzard titles at a discount from the company store after 30 days of employment, per year, and am eligible for two free games after 90 days of employment. I forgot to get my free games the first time around, six years ago, so I'm probably not going to forget this time.

And it is a paltry income compared to what I used to earn, but job is job. I'd rather be working than not working. Even though I will be earning less per week than what I get on unemployment, but it looks better on the resume to be actually working. And, I'll be the envy of all the beginning Game Art & Design students. I know it's a job, and I've been doing QA things for six years, so I'm well-versed in my industry. It's just been a long time since I tested anything on the console/PC side.

If nothing else, this will be fun, and free soda.

It is old, and it's not Karaoke for the Deaf. It's interpretive dance, if anything. He also appeared on a Policeman's Ball thing on the BBC with Natalie Imbruglia, and she even did the dance thingy with him.

I'd have to be playing, but okay.

The mere acknowledgment of the game also causes one to lose, so internally, when you thought of this, you lost as well.

The game cannot be won, therefore, it is moot to play.

Whitey. Well, at least I think it was a hug. He may have just been attempting to hump me. He does that.

Nearest paint chip and where is it from?
