LA: Well, I know that Starbucks is the devil, but we work for the United States Government. Anyway, X3PH1R isn't totally harmless...we can't find the XM8 rifle we assigned to him. He disabled the tracking devices on everything we gave him, and he hasn't turned up just yet.

LA: You're lucky that building was empty at the time.

**Phone clicks over to second line**

SA: Nice shot, Pagano. My fault for underestimating you. Fortunately, I thought to wear the bulletproof vest, and your neighbor's car broke my fall. I left a note on the crushed windshield...and you're insurance number.

SA: You'll more than likely get to Starbucks before I do, so let's change venue and I'll meet you at It's A Grind...since I'm within driving...**pause on the line**...oh wait, that's my car.

SA: Nevermind. **phone dies out.**

**New call coming in, caller ID withheld. Prius answers the phone, sounds of wind in the background. A slightly annoyed voice pierces through on the other end, slight static every now and then...**

X3PH1R: Pagano, Williams! How goes the morning? Have they figured out that I've gone missing yet? Anyway, I'm going to brief you on your mission before they do, but the tracer is honing in my position, so I'll have to call back.

**Phone clicks out again.**

Name: Agent X3PH1R
Specialty: CLASSIFIED
Age: 23
Location: UNKNOWN

**He sits in the middle of a sand dune, sands flying around him, clothed in Arabian type garb with a Toughbook laptop computer sitting on his lap connected to the government satellite uplink. On his screen, a small tracking blip lights up near Petaluma, California, along with two blips out in Long Beach, and two IM windows from central command. Next to him, the XM8 modified rifle rests slightly buried in the sand. Behind him, a camel flicks its tongue at him.**

Ooh...fresh meat...

**Agent X3PH1R stood from his sandy position and leaned up against his camel, the Toughbook beeping on the sand as another blip showed up in Long Beach...this time at the Carl's Jr next to the Starbucks on the outside of the mall.**

X3PH1R: "Ooh, Agent Johnson, I see you've joined the ranks as well. Except, you're not supposed to be there. Methinks I shall bestow upon thee a phone call as well. But," **he turns to scramble up onto the camel, retrieving his rifle and computer,** "I shall have to shift my position before I continue. They're closing in on me."

**Williams' phone starts to ring as she sits down...GOVERNMENT 2 on the caller ID.**

SA: Despite the troubles with my car, and the fact that you're both at Starbucks even though I said I'd meet you at It's A Grind, I'll meet you there shortly. Intel has intercepted a communication between your vehicle and X3PH1R, but were unable to track him. Try to keep him on the phone longer next time, please?

SA: I shall arrive shortly. In the meantime, can you retrieve one of your fellow agents from next door? Agent Johnson. I'm sure you'll be able to utilize him for the upcoming mission. And pick me up a caramel machiatto on the company credit card.

**Line beeps, caller ID withheld.**

X3PH1R: You've got another agent waiting for you in Carl's Jr next door, as I so think you've already been instructed. Listen, Williams, I know that they've already contacted...shit...the tracer's closing in, gotta go.

**Phone clicks out.**

**In Carl's Jr, Johnson's cell phone starts to ring. GOVERNMENT 1 on the caller ID.**

HA: Good afternoon, agent Johnson. Just needed to brief you quickly on something since we tracked your phone to your present location. Next door, at Starbucks, you'll find agents Williams and Pagano. Their mission contact agent will be meeting them shortly there to inform them of their--which is also your--mission specifics.

HA: Please do us the favor of heading down there so that we don't have to give the same information twice. And, if you happen to hear from Agent X3PH1R, please be adviced that he is currently AWOL, and we'd like him back ASAP.

**Driving towards Oakland, Agent Wistock's phone syncs with Outlook producing the following encrypted message:**

Agent Wistock:

We've intercepted Intel Reports that you're being tracked from somewhere on the other side of the world by our own agents. We've also lost Agent X3PH1R. If he should happen to contact you, please be advised that he is currently AWOL and may be considered slightly dangerous.

We've made arrangements with Southwest Airlines to fly you down to Long Beach Airport to meet with the rest of your assigned partners later on in the day. Try to make it there by at least 1800 hours. They'll meet you at the nearby Long Beach City College main quad. You're on your own for transportation from the airport, and accomodations while you're there. Your fellow agents will brief you on your mission specifics upon arrival.

Your assigned partners:
Johnson, John
Pagano, Giovani
Williams, Rebekah
...and if we find him, Agent X3PH1R.

Good luck.

Considering the fact that I am the richest user on the board, and also don't use the lucre even though I did buy a few things, and I do contribute, and I write my stories, and I've lost my train of thought, why are we fighting about the structures of a fake money system when most people just make up the weapons and such they use in sim battles anyway?

And, to my understanding, you're given lucre on a per post basis, not a word-quantity of post basis. So, quit yer complainin' and post some good ol' crap, and you'll be rich beyond yer wildest dreams as well, ya damn whippersnappers.

Maybe if you saved up lucre, like I do, you'd have lots of it. But why are we arguing about this? We might as well argue about monopoly money while we're at it.

I'm listening to the 120-piece philharmonic orchestra that performs in that sinus cavity just below my left eye. They're playing something that sounds close to some movie soundtrack...or a glorified version of the Legend of Zelda theme. Either way, it's kick-ass, and it annoys Zabuza.

But, after reading Elara's post, the 50-piece choir that performs just inside my right temple has started singing Yesterday to me. Ah, between that and the orchestra, I'm surprised the Hokage gets any sleep.

Imagine how the other 3 million people in my head feel.

And I only changed once to Zabuza, and have stayed. No Star Wars shit for me...total trekkie 99.98%. (I have to gay sometimes, too).

Oh, and I'm immune to the force. I prefer the dark side, if I have to. But I'm not changing my name to Darth anything.

This should be moved to Tech Discussion, since it is a techie issue. If you contracted a virus...anti-virus should remove it...but I somehow doubt it. It could just be a username hijacking. Used to do that back in the day to mess with other people.

"Hey," Chris shoved his sleeping partner sitting next to him. The stake-out had droned on late into the night, and morning had snuck up on them. Their unmarked police cruiser sat in an alley across from the suspect's home.

"What", Cody grumbled rolling over under his seatbelt, "Did they move?" Chris pulled out his binoculars and inspected the windows across the alley. No movement at all. They must have left overnight. He started the car.

"I think they left--let's check the airport just in case," Chris slowly rolled the vehicle past the house and onto the main highway.

Cody, his scruffy brown hair falling into his eyes as he slowly woke from his dreamy state, sat uneasily in the passenger seat watching the cars huddle closely around them in the morning traffic. The morning was humid and muggy, almost suffocating if the windows had been rolled down. The air conditioning provided a slight relief. Cody grasped blindly for his coffee cup and took a long, slow sip of the ice-cold thick fluid.

"We need more juice," Cody said slurping down the last bit of the liquid, "and I'm not flying the plane this time."

Chris sat behind the wheel, one hand on the wheel, the other on the gear shift, starring into the sea of cars. If their targets had fled, they'd be long gone by now.

Decided to rewrite it...

So, if there's a Star Wars forum...where's the Star Trek forum for those of us that just prefer Star Trek to Star Wars, and haven't been brainwashed by George Lucas? Feel free to close this if you must, since you're probably going to throw some kind of tantrum and delete the thing anyway.

Image hosted by a hundred hampsters running on one giant wheel in some warehouse in Canada.

If you hold your mouse over the image, the alt tag is what happens when I get bored. For Firefox users, you'll have to right-click and select properties.

Anyway, this is the most recent pic I have and I was tired, so yeah. I have highlights in my hair, if it can't be seen. I wanted to take the picture with my Mist Village forehead protector, but I'm just that lazy to walk the thirty feet to my car to get it.

So...am I sexy? Kidding.

Barrage used to play at Disneyland while I still worked there. I always wanted to purchase their CDs at the employee discount, but they always sold out right after they performed. Most awesome band ever!! That reminds me, I should see if I can find some of their MP3s.

I used to watch them on PBS specials before they started performing at Disneyland. I don't think they still perform there, but when they did, I always made sure to have a shift in Tomorrowland just to be able to at least hear them.

Made me just that much more proud of being able to play the violin.

What's wrong with doing that? Without Google's image search, I'd have no random images of hot guys to masturbate too. Except for all the sex stores in and around Long Beach. Besides, random image searches are fun.

On another note, the Disneyland parking structure can technically be the number one largest parking structure if configured to its full capacity. At its current configuration, it houses 10,074 cars. At full capacity, it can house over 13,000 cars.

Okay, I'm done.

Two words, Katamari Damacy. Best game ever. Best music ever. I mean, rolling a giant sticky ball around to fix some error your father did while he was on some mushroom trip? Yeah, totally kick-ass coolio ever.

And the two-player game (which reminds me, I'm still missing my second controller) where you can roll up your opponent if needed...that is TOTALLY awesome.

I guess Rogue, Captain Jack Sparrow, and I will be seeing you at Anime Expo then since we do only live a couple miles from there, and I used to work across the street from it at Disneyland. But, after that, you leave our overcrowded state so that I can continue to breathe our beautiful smog.

Hey, maybe you'll finally get to meet one of us and see just how different we are from our online personalities...except, I'm not much different.
