Orthography is spelling and writing syntax.

Children in the 1800 were expected to know a lot more than we do now since most of them didn't go on to high school or higher education (which you misspelled in your title). Now that our students go on to higher education, including high school, most of these topics are covered in high school honors and advanced classes. And, most of these skills aren't really required in standard "high school diploma" jobs.

Yet again, I'm placed in a position where I know stuff before people in the outside world do. And, it rocks.

Well, they said that if it's on the website, we can post what we're working on. Just no details at all. That's what the website is for. My project:

Ultimate Spiderman...and the game kicks ass! But, that's all I can say about it. I find it funny that I work for the company that created the Soldier of Fortune game before I wrote a different Soldier of Fortune novellette.

You may be on the verge of being homeless with no job or cash, but you're still determined to make it to any anime/comic convention.

You're excited to work at an anime store.

You cream yourself when you're able to buy your favorite anime.

You stop dead in traffic when you spot an anime store.

You can't remember your (friend/spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/parents) birthday, but you know the release dates for any anime.

You often forget your own name.

Assassin

You are an
assassin.

That means you are a professional and do your
job without mixing any emotions in it. In your
life you have probably been hurt many times and
have gotten some mental scars. This results in
your being distant from people. Though many
think that you are evil, you are not. What you
really are is a person, trying to forget your
pain and past. You are the person whom never
seems to care and that is why being an assassin
fits you well. At least, that's what people
like to think. Even if you don't care for
your victims, you still have the ability to
care. All is not lost,
just a little forgotten. In crowds, you tend not
to get noticed, and dress in black or other
discrete colors. You don't enjoy being in the
spotlight, and wish people would just leave you
alone. But once you do get close to someone, you
have a hard time letting go becoming really depressed
if you lose him.

Main weapon: High-Powered Sniper Rifle

What Type of Killer Are You? [cool pictures]
brought to you by Quizilla

It fits. I work for highest bidder, and don't differentiate between good and evil. Those labels are totally irrelevant and subjective to the user's point of view. It's not that I don't care, it's just that I don't care. If I had a job to do (that's classified by the way), I'd do it...no questions asked. It's work.

Why hide the fact that you prefer small boobs? Say it loud, say it proud! Tiny Tits Rock!!

I saw a shirt at Pride that read that.

1. Your car serves as a mobile transport unit for the other anime people and is stocked with hidden compartments, explosives, food, pocky, and emergency cleaning supplies.

I don't like boobies...they're squishy and they make me squirm, scream, and run...except when I'm caught in a boobie sandwich...then I can't run.

"We Need Your Help"

While investigating a string of serial murders, Jack Lorski and Karen Gijman disappear without a trace. Shortly after their disappearance we received a CD containing cryptic information about their abduction with instructions to release it to the public. The CD is inside this box. Help us decipher the CD's contents quickly so that we can track this madman and ensure Jack and Karen's safe return.

This is the new "game" I'm playing now. I get clues through e-mail, I have to search the internet for other parts of the puzzle, to solve other clues, and general research. I receive random IMs from other people trying to help locate them as well. It's creepy, but enjoyable and quite challenging.

Anyone else play this? I just installed it, and already received a couple e-mails with very interesting clues, but am still waiting to analyze a couple videos and stuff. I think they've been killed...but could be otherwise.

He had lost himself in the entanglement of buildings before he noticed that all had stopped moving around him. His watch had started pulsing a blue light indicating the activation of a limited time-freeze. He pushed open the emergency latch on the door, and stepped out onto the highway. All the vehicles sat frozen in time, except for two shadows running up the highway in front of him.

He started a rigorous jog towards the shadows trying to catch up to them, dodging vehicles in the darkness of night, watching the shadows near a mass transit station. The shadows of the surrounding buildings aided in the concealment of the figures he had been chasing, so he decided to continue running passed the transit station. He glanced down at his watch surveying the few minutes still left before time-resume, and stopped a few hundred feet from the second transit station.

Nearby, a decorative pylon from an office building jutted out over the AeroTrain track. Pat walked up to a support arm holding the highway, and climbed up to the AeroTrain track. Avoiding the energized power strip that ran on the underside of the track, he clambered on top of the narrow track and placed on a pair of Special Ops gloves. He lunged forward and grasped onto the metallic pylon, both hands electromagnetically attaching to the pylon. Swinging forward and releasing the electromagnetic hold, he flipped himself onto the top of the pylon crouching down to survey the surrounding area. Off in the distance, he caught sight of the far off Elysian apartment building, a place that had been his home many years ago.

After crawling down the pylon, and forcing his way into the office building, he worked his way down to the ground floor standing in the shadows of the building overlooking a deserted streetway. He removed his PCD dialing up Server One.

"Both of you have something you think I'd like to see," she spoke while the clinging of tea cup sounded softly in the background, "yet how do either of you know I haven't seen it before?"

"Both? Is Lee already there?" he started running towards the Zona district.

"He is here, yet he is not. You are there, yet you are here. I have the datadisc, yet I don't," there was a pause on the line, "Tea? White still prevails in darkness."

Pat disengaged the call and continued running towards the cafe. Off in the distant silence, he could hear another set of footsteps running towards him. He stopped running, watching a singular slender figure drop in front of him, white cloak trailing behind him with silver eyes glowing like the moons of Isis and Usiris.

"I believe you have something I want," the figure voiced holding his hand out towards Pat. Pat glanced down at his watch; the time-freeze was still active.

"How are you able to move about during this?" Pat took a step backwards centering his body for a fight, his left hand resting gingerly on the hilt of his sword.

"By natural occurance, all Venitians happen to be immune to any artificial fluctuations of time," the Venitian stepped forward while simultaneously unsheathing a broadsword and placing the blade just inches from Pat's neck, "the disc, please."

Pat nodded, and dropped his right hand into his coat pocket producing a small flash explosive. The flash briefly illuminated the surrounding areas painfully, yet momentarily, blinding the Venitian. When his sight returned a few moments later, Pat had disappeared.

OOC/OOS: You know that LAX is a rather large airport, third largest I believe, and there are multiple terminals, and both of these flights are departing from two different terminals. American Airlines in the Tom Bradley Internation Terminal (the biggest terminal with the most gates) and Air France in Terminal 5.

It's a nice effort, but with Tom Bradley getting an average of 30 million people in traffic per month, and T-5 an average of 5 million, I'd say it'd be rather difficult to identify and watch every single person. That, and there are thousands more that occupy the terminal lobbies alone. Also, there's more than one parking lot, there are expensive parking structures, and loads of public trans.

On top of that, you've got to check in still, because the "man" didn't just give you boarding passes, and you've got to declare those rifles and wait while they're inspected by the TSA. After that, it's on to TSA before heading into the terminal gates area. All said and done, you'll all be at the airport for about a good two hours before any of you board a single plane. Keep that in mind, it will help for the next phase.

How do I know all this? I used to work for TSA @ LAX.

**X3PH1R's plane momentarily rerouted to the Tom Bradley International Terminal to deplane due to engine trouble. As he wandered out onto the waiting area near gate 125, he noticed the glimmer from the sunglasses of a trenchcoated man down near gates 100...

He shifted his own coat around looking for his Palm Tungsten, but had forgotten the small device on the plane. He quickly blended into the crowd gathered near the gate awaiting for their plane to reboard.
**

GATE ANNOUNCEMENT: "American Airlines passenger Reed, please report to the nearest white courtesy phone for a message. American Airlines is paging passenger Reed...please report to the nearest white courtesy phone for a message."

OOS/OOC: I'll let Reed slide, but the rest of you will have to take into account what flight you'll be on, and the fact that you'll be in the terminals for quite a while.

She picked up her personal communications device, or PCD, and walked into her backyard. Tyr followed, happily wagging both tails behind him, walking to his little house near a large weeping willow tree overlooking the small bluff over the bay. The sweet breezes of the Great Ocean filled her lungs as she walked barefoot over the soft grass towards a bench she kept near the tree for reading. Tyr sat under the tree, his fluffy head and floppy ears propped to one side, watching a nest of birds frolic in the upper branches. She patted him between his ears and sat at the bench watching some of the neighborhood kids play in the sand and water just below. The morning was slightly quiet, her hair flowing in the breeze, her thoughts drifting with the leaves.

Her PCD broke the daydream with its incessant ringing next to her. She picked it up and propped it on the bench, "Hello?"

"Crystle," the voice on the line sounding vaguely like a really rattled Tom, "I need to speak to you very soon. Can you meet me in Meridian City?"

She was startled to hear Tom's voice, even if it did sound frayed and distant, and she hesitated before answering his request. Her thoughts shifted to her friend, Rosy, whom was on her way to Meridian City to meet up with Tracy.

"Why Meridian City? What happened? Are you alright," the questions couldn't have flowed any faster out of her lips.

"Shh," he scolded through the PCD, "just get out here as soon as you can, and bring the disc." The PCD clicked off displaying a rotating GlobalNet Communications logo. She sat pensively for a moment trying to figure out what had just happened. Tyr sensed her confusion and rested his head at her feet. She looked down into her puppies deep black eyes and sighed before walking towards the wood fence that separated her yard from the edge of the bluff. She glanced back towards her home spying the rotating data display still engaged on her kitchen table, and walked back towards the house.

When she returned to her kitchen, she noticed a familiar figure standing in her driveway. She moved to window, focusing on the man standing in her driveway. It was the man from the night before, and he was holding a pink wooden staff that seemed vaguely familiar. As she opened her front door to greet the man, she remembered where she had seen the staff before.

"I know that staff," she stated coldly standing in her doorway, "it belongs to my friend."

The man turned, his white coat flowing around him, "Yes, I know," he held out his hand towards her and motioned towards an X-Drive minivan sitting in the street, "it shall do you best to come with me, my dear."

She stared at the man's outstretched hand and held back Tyr with her foot as the little puppy growled at the man. "I know," she whispered towards the puppy. She stepped back into her home, and locked the door while activating the security systems. She turned to walk back towards the kitchen, but was startled when the man appeared in front of her.

"Please, it is best of we do this my way," he held Tyr in his hands, craddling the small puppy back and forth, "I did not mean to startle you nor do I mean to bring any harm to you, I merely would like to learn more about the Showers."

She backed up towards her front door searching the room for any potential weapons, her heart pounding from the excitement. "Why me?"

He set down the puppy who ran off towards the backyard, "Why not?"
