And, why is this in Tech Discussion? Shouldn't this be in Help instead?

Yeah, I don't see anyone's layouts. I purposely set my end to do that long ago because I don't care about layouts. I care about content.

Why isn't this in Help?

Usually, if a thread has really lost all of its meaning or had none to begin with, it will be closed ("OFF") and placed in the Game Over forum, where all deleted threads end up. If the thread has just been closed and not deleted, it will remain in its respective forum, but will be turned "OFF", so to speak.

Although, these "OFF" threads will continue to appear in the Last Posts until they are bumped by more recent activity posts.

But, if you're a non-believer, why would you go to a place that you don't believe in in the first place?

In order for me to go to hell, I'd have to believe in it. I don't. In order to do anything after death, I'd have to believe in it as well. My only belief is the Buddhist reincarnation, and nothing more.

So, I shall return, don't know when, don't know where, don't know as what. But, I've been doing that for several thousand years already, so I don't really care what happens now or in my next lifespan.

This is what I do in my spare time. Except, I captured it on film this time. And, if camcorders were allowed at work, the funnier version I do in the cubicle farm would have been better.

Since it is possible to intelligently make fun of someone:

Nintendo of America has given a Nintendo DS Lite + Brain Age package to President George W. Bush for his 60th birthday (source: Gizmodo).

The enclosed letter reads:

Originally posted by Nintendo of America

Nintendo of America 4820 150th Ave. NE Redmond, WA 98052 July 6, 2006 President George W. Bush The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, DC 20500

Dear President Bush:
Happy Birthday!
Don't worry, turning 60 is an exciting milestone. As you know, you've joined millions of other baby boomers in an invigorating new decade of your life. And, like many boomers, you may be looking for ways to keep your mind sharp. That's where we come in.

Please accept our gift of a new Nintendo DS Lite system and a copy of Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day. You now join millions of people around the world who have fun challenging themselves with Brain Age. If you have never played a video game before, don't worry. Brain Age is part of our new Touch Generations brand, which includes games that are easy for people of any age - regardless of their video game experience - to pick up and start playing immediately.

It's obvious you don't have a lot of time to play games, which makes Brain Age such a great activity for you - just a few minutes a day with more than 15 daily training tests will help keep your mind sharp. Training tests include categories like math, reading and memorization. Try it for a few days and watch your score improve. Brain Age also comes with more than 100 sudoku puzzles - these could make your next long flight on Air Force One a bit more fun! (Perhaps copies of Brain Age for journalists joining you on your next flight would be a nice distraction!)
Have fun exploring Brain Age with your Nintendo DS Lite and be sure to let us know your brain age!

Have a tremendous birthday!

Sincerely,

Your Friends at Nintendo

Now, that letter may seem like a giant sales pitch, but I think it makes a lot of referencial implication that our President is not quite so bright. Or, is it just a bold gesture from Nintendo?

Scientology is not science. Don't ever make that association again.

But, even if their one religion just happens to be one of the worldwide, larger religions, why would I go to hell if I don't believe in the damned concept to begin with? Your justification only makes sense to people whom possess a degree of religious belief.

I don't.

I may believe in science, but I have my reincarnation beliefs as well. Whether I believe them 100% and all the time, that's up to me. That isn't always the case, though.

And, Scientology is a pseudo-religion created by L. Ron Hubbard to win a bet. He was an okay science fiction writer. Had some good ones, and had some horrible ones. But, his religion is not science. Don't you ever make that assumption or association again.

I know I look a lot younger than 24. I'm almost a quarter of a century, and I still get carded. I guess it could be flattering, but it's mostly frustrating.

My family is blessed with the look-younger-than-you-are gene. My mom is in her 60s, but looks not a day over forty. Cousins that are almost adults look like early teens. Young adults (myself included) look like late teenagers. I've been told that I look seventeen. Seventeen!!

I guess it's a good thing, mostly.

That's just one poster. The other side of that poster shows the black person totally dominating the white person.

Sony is not being racist nor prejudice. It is merely representing a certain advertisement campaign to illustrate the release of the white Sony PSP to Europe and America. It's best to get all the facts before showing a one-sided approach to something, because that would be manipulating one's ideals towards a specific thing.

(I also work for Sony. You are not bad-mouthing my company.)

From SCE, "The marketing campaign for the launch of the White PSP in the Benelux focuses on the contrast between the Black PSP model and the new Ceramic white PSP model", the spokesperson continued. "A variety of different treatments have been created as a campaign to either highlight the whiteness of the new model or contrast the black and the white models. Central to this campaign has been the creation of some stunningly photographed imagery, that has been used on large billboards throughout Holland."

And, considering these are placed overseas, where everyone is perceived to have a far more open mind than that of American audiences, the images are no more than a depiction of contrast between the white PSP and the black PSP.

Also, the recent accusing that videogame Loco Roco is racist by having its main character be a little yellow blob that has to fight black looking things as bosses does not make the game racist either. The image of that floating around the internet is completely fabricated as the true Roco Loco logo features none of what is shown. The game is quirky title, released primarily in Japan and Europe, following that pattern of gaming that is closely associated to the cult that Katamari launched.

Take, for instance, this Japanese commercial for the PSP white and black. Is it racist?

But, if we're gonna make accusations about being racist, why not bring up Rockstar and GTA: San Andreas? By far, the most racially stereotyping game ever, directly copying Compton (Ganton) and its well-known gang and racially driven issues. Why stop there? Why not bring up other games?

No, I see it as a personal attack on Sony, much like there are EA games haters out there, and other company haters. It's just people that love to complain doing what they do best--complain and create unnecessary conflict.

I'd vote for N-Gage if this counted machines that I've used in the past few years as well.

Probably should have separated the DS Phat and the DS Lite.

I own:
PS2
2 DS Lites (Crystal Ice and Navy Blue)
1 DS Phat (Black)
NES

I have used:
XBOX 360 (when it was known as Xenon)
PSP
PS3
Wii
N-Gage (for work)

I have owned:
PS1 (2nd edition)
Dreamcast (CD-ROM drive broke down)
Sega Genesis (Sold it)
Atari 2600 (Sold it)
Commodore (Sold it)

I only really want the 360 for one game so far, so I'm not really compelled to buy it. And, the PS3--while having nice graphics and stuff--hasn't really swayed me to reserve it either. Even with my company discount. Wii will probably have my money when it is released, though. And, I'm even thinking about getting another DS Phat.

But it hasn't been proven that it's real or true. Just like all other religions. Just because it is the most universally abundant does not make it supreme. Not at all.

If I were to be in their religious thought bubble, then by their accounts I go to hell. As a satanist, I go to their version of hell, but that's a good thing. As who I am, I am put in limbo and reincarnated at some point. No heaven; no hell. The reincarnation determines whether I was a good or bad person in a past life. To come back as a beetle or animal would be a bad thing. To come back as human, good.

But, you're missing the point of this thread. If one doesn't believe (like me), then why would I go to a place that I don't believe exists?

I have always heard that from girls. "You'd be a perfect boyfriend, if you weren't gay." Yeah, thanks.

But, I had straight friends, that will pretend to be bi just to get the girls. So, I expose them. Kiss me. Yeah, you heard me. If you're bi you should be able to; no problem, right?

I have no problem killing the straight boys plans.

Except there is a black person doing that to a white person ad. We have it at work. We have mostly all 100 images at work, but I can't release them if I can't find them online.

And, it's not racist. It's meant to attract attention on the contrast of the white PSP to the black PSP and nothing more.

(1900th post)

Anyway, should I continue my Memoirs? I mean, is my life really that interesting to read?

I know people have read my resume and been impressed by what I've managed to accomplish in so little time, but I don't find my life too real or interesting. Maybe I should continue. Don't know.

Yeah, but the mentality of a straight male, bisexual male, and gay male are entirely different. If I were presented with having to prove my sexuality as a bisexual male, I would confirm it to defend my sexuality. However, as a gay male, I'm not going to kiss some random guy. As a straight male, I'm not going to kiss some random girl.

But, that doesn't make my plan null and void. It's a valid argument. Just because it doesn't apply to you doesn't mean that it doesn't apply to everyone.

Posted on 07-10-06 06:00 AM, in Creator of Bonus Stage has created music for my intro... Link
I've recently commissioned Matt Wilson, the creator of web-series Bonus Stage and founder of Couch Slave Productions, to create a 2-minute intro/ambiance/ending credits music for my videoblog, "Adventures of a Gay Man". I've been given a few samples, and while the product is not finished yet, I've created this partial introduction to the videos.

This intro is also a rough draft, and will be changed. But it's being used as a template to test the music. The musical "hiccup" in the very beginning is entirely my fault in editing, and shouldn't reflect the quality of his music. It will be corrected in the final portion.

And, the ending credits music is featured in Episode 20:

Please relay how you feel about either the video or the music.

Obviously, you're not aware of the hundreds of pictures of myself that I have...

It's only 25 seconds. It's not too long, and I don't think I have regular watchers. I'm not even sure. I know two of my old coworkers watch everytime I update, but meh. This is mostly done for my purposes and not that of others.

Had I been doing this for television, then the intro would only be about 20 seconds. (Think intros from the late 80s/early 90s.) I have ten second intro music, I have 25-second intro music, I have 20-second intro music, and 28-second outro music.

But, it will probably be edited down.

Religion is just the longest running scam out there, but if some people don't take it at face value and just use it as a guideline for life, then fine.

If you believe non-believers go to a place they don't believe exists, so be it.

But I, as a non-believer don't believe I'm going to a place that hasn't been proven to exist. Hell, I don't even think reincarnation is plausible, but more like a collective memory source between all of us...and that makes it seem like reincarnation is plausible.

I believe in science and imagination...my own.

But, like the Scientology episode, everything they relayed in South Park about the Mormon religion is true. It's a little on the dumb side, but it's true.

Exactly. And people whom claim it as prejudice need to grow up and embrace the 21st century. We need to stop being overly sensitive to things.
