See, you seem to think that saying, "I'm busy" suffices. If it did, I'd just use that. It doesn't. I do tell people that I'm busy. It's the persistent people that don't get it that get my bad side. People like XMTS who continues to IM me in the background after telling him, "Sorry, I'm really busy right now." with replies like:

"What are you doing?", "What kind of work are you doing?", "Why are you busy right now?", "I'm bored and have nothing to do.", "Are you having a tea party?", "Why is the sky blue?".

If it sufficed to have people understand that "Sorry, I'm busy" is "Please go away, I can't talk right now", then there'd be no purpose to this announcement. I know people want me to look over their written work and to view a film here and there, but understand that if you want me to do that--I can't do it right then and there. If you want that, e-mail it to me, and I'll get to it when I can. I don't even take my lunch break anymore. I eat at my cubicle while working.

I'm basically the knowledge source for gaming certification standards for my company--both day and night shift. I have to clean up day shifts messes, do the producer's jobs because they don't know how, and finish my own assignments. Every night, five days a week. Any mistake could cost the company hundreds of thousands of dollars, easily.

Do you know what it takes to submit a game for cell phone? Several hundreds of testing and programming hours, and several thousand dollars. Each certification testing fail is $1000 lost per build. We produce over 500 builds per month, with about 300 passing per month. That means we're losing about $200,000, at minimum, per month. My job is to prevent us from doing that.

And, I'm on AIM because we have AIM Corporate, and we use it to communicate between each other at work because it's easier to do work that way (sending links from the server, asking questions to people that are in other areas of the company, asking people questions that are physically located in another country, etc.)

I'm justified in being an ass all the time. It's my nature.

But, this is mostly a general announcement to everyone. I'm quite busy at work, and I just need people to realize that. The frustration comes from getting messages like "I need to talk to you because the person I normally ask for this works at night now." Well, what the fuck do you think I'm doing?

Just because I'm a game tester for Sony doesn't mean that I'm just piddling around. It's still work, and it requires my attention and concentration. So, I can't entertain questions about why chocolate is a bad lubricant, nor do I have the time to read something or watch something on YouTube for critique. I barely had enough time to do the Story Competition judging, and I didn't even finish that.

Affairs of the board, and that of people that aren't quite adults yet, are not high priority in my life. As an adult (I'm almost 25), I have responsibilities and duties. You may think being QA for a mobile gaming company is easy--it's not. And, I'm not just a tester anymore. I'm a trainer, so I'm even more busy than ever before.

We're laid out all weird too, so I'm always away from my cubicle. And, when I'm not away, I'd like to be able to accomplish some kind of work without being bothered. Also, I leave the IM up because I don't carry my cell phone with me to work. I have a work extension for that, but my friends (close personal ones) often reach me through AIM because they can't in any other way.

This was mostly a general announcement. If you are really bored, try contacting me during the day...if you're lucky, I'll just be fucking around on the internet. It's the inconsiderate people that irk me, this is the purpose of this announcement. Also, I can't tell you what game I've worked on in the past because I'm legally bound by Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements. If you really want to know, you'll just have to search on your own. I value my career, and don't want to jeopardize it, so I'm incredibly serious about my work.

Oh, and you don't know me *throws chair into audience*. So, this isn't just the oil change at the gas station or folding clothes at the Gap. I understand that Jiffy Lube is vital to our automobile economy, but an unfolded shirt isn't going to bring the economy to a screeching halt.

It's not going to until the new fiscal year starts in September. Until then, I know it's a few weeks, I'm under a great deal of stress to finish a training manual that I'm writing entirely on my own, update several industry documentation on my own, train remaining members of the night crew, train the entire day crew, train the producers and assistant producer, and test builds of games.

And, I have finals next week at school, with no break in between quarters. I start the next quarter the following week, so that we can get two weeks of vacation in December. Woop-dee-fucking-doo.

Did I mention I hate ITT Tech?

In relation to my announcement:

People that just don't realize that "Sorry, I'm busy" is not a declaration to continue the conversation over AIM. I'M REALLY BUSY, GO AWAY BEFORE I STOP BEING NICE!

People that drive slow on the freeway.

People that don't let me merge over so that they can drive faster.

People that fart in the car and don't tell you.

People that want you to do their job for them, and end up taking the credit and you can't do anything about it...just yet.

People that want to know why I own DSs, and why I'm contemplating buying another one.

Most people under the age of 18 are quite mature for their age, but you're still not an adult. Hell, I don't think we should be adults until 25.

OK, I'll bite, but I'm guessing I'll get: You're an ass.

Naturally Smart
You're a naturally smart person. Your intelligence comes to you naturally, rather than from instruction - and you are better with applied or more real-world things... which comes in handy, here in the real world.
0% applied intelligence
40% natural intelligence

I figured I'd be something like this. It has waned since high school.

People that refuse to acknowledge you by name, and refer to you as "The Gay Guy".

For the record, I'm 24. Stating that adults should be recognized as such until 25 was relevant to myself as well. Granted, I'll be 25 this year...

And, yes, I do know everything about humanity.

Right. Well, not that I take your opinion on movies at all, but I want to see it solely because the South Harmon Institute of Technology abbreviates to SHIT. And, I have a t-shirt with the hot dog guy that reads "Ask me about my weiner."

In almost every other culture and language, except for American and British English where it has no gender and most of the Romantic languages where it is male, the computer is female.

In English, our objects don't really have a gender, but the only reason most object are referred to as female are because they are owned by males. Heterosexual males, that is. My car is male, because I said so. Most of everything I own is male. My computer has no gender, or is asexual, or has both genders.

Well, considering you did only say, "If Zabuza had read my story completely instead of just giving me 20 points...", so how much more clearer could that be if you don't elaborate on it. I also didn't like your writing style. I would have knocked you for more just based on that, but I didn't. I gave you a third of the points instead of nothing at all.

I also did not finish because I have other priorities, as I have stated before. And, nothing is truly impossible.

People that put up complaints about people that know everything.

I don't know everything. I just know everything about my job. And career path. And Disneyland Annual Passholders. And the Department of Homeland Security. And, about being a gay man.

AVG Free Edition.

It's good. It doesn't mess up shit, unless, of course, your computer's already messed up to begin with. We use them on our computers at Sony, of course, we've got the full licensed corporate edition, but I've got free at home and its just as good. You can't fail with something that auto-updates itself with free updates. And checks your incoming and outgoing Outlook mail.

And generally scans everything that's being accessed on your PC. You can find it on Download.com - AVG Free Edition. And the other pieces of software you listed are not antiviri software--they're anti-spyware software. Two different, yet similar, things.

Macs aren't totally impervious to viri and worm attacks. They're just less likely to get one since most are targeted at the flaws of Windows-based machines. But on that note, there is another solution: Linux (or any other version of it).

But, stop taking my role of being an ass. That's my job, not yours.

Still, that is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I mean, solving an entire Rubik's Cube in any amount of time is a feat let alone doing it one handed in under 21 seconds.

This is art. It may be animation, but it's art. It's not a video, it's a .gif. Quit being so pissy about things.

I didn't post it wrong, it's just transparent in its creation. Had I wanted to throw a white background behind it, then it'd conflict with the random portions of white color. And, I did post that I found it. Back off, dude. Take a chill pill. Stop trying to be me.
