Silent Hill: Homecoming. The atmosphere is obviously inspired by the movie, and it was a very fun/spooky time. Got 1000/1000 on it, too. I need to play the others, now...!

Got back my History test just recently. It was on Rise of Mussolini, Failure of Democracy in Germany, Rise of Hitler, and the Great Depression (in the U.S, and the world).

Playing through Enchanted Arms. Late to the train on this one. I don't know why I don't play RPGs more often ('specially JRPGs). I always hold off playing them because they'll take so long to play, but once I do actually play them, I play them alot at a time.

Yeah, it's not that awesome, for sure, but I get addicted to RPGs in any case, unless it's so bad that I'm forced to put it down (even more so when they're rentals). I think it's okay. Drags on a bit, the main character is poopy, and could use a bit of a better battle system. Hell, classic turn-based should make a comeback.

As for Eternal Sonata, that one I really did like. I don't know what crack you're on, Xeo.

Just got to watching Soul Eater 27. The shit just got real (used that term a couple times so far, heh). I really liked that episode.

Hidamari Sketch has been going alright. The OP is so energetic, compared to the very mellow nature of the show itself. Interesting contrast there.

Lastly, I've been unable to watch Gundam 00 Ep. 2. Every episode I download just lags like hell, and is thus too bothersome to watch. =/

When I went to my local video store, they didn't have it (and thus Enchanted Arms), so hopefully they will have it next time I go in. I'm looking forward to another scary game, since Silent Hill V was fun junk.

Just watched Hidamari Ep. 6, and noticed that in the foreground of one scene there was a Yoko doll. Are the companies that made Lagann and Hidamari related or is that just a random cameo?

Double post poweeeeer.

Started Clannad After Story. It's been all right so far (sort of surprisingly), with Episode 2 and 3 actually having some good laughs in it (the loli misunderstanding in 3 ^__^). However, even though he got with Nagisa, they sure don't seem very different. Not acting like a couple at all, tsk tsk.

For some reason I just got reminded that I need to finish Samurai Champloo. It's been like 40 years.

Update. It's been a while since I've had so much to vent about a game.

Enchanted Arms turned out to actually be a pretty decent game. However, the entire experience has mostly been ruined by the last boss, Queen of Ice. After a million failed attempts, I desperately sought to find tips. Every single one I read recommended I boost my character much much more, and some even suggest I get the "God Weapons", which requires a bunch of sidequesting. They also suggest getting some of the more capable Golems to use in my party, but they all start at level 1, so I don't have time to level them 44 levels.

The last boss should be difficult, but completely possible after going through the game normally. I've actually gone out of my way a bit to increase my main character's HP around 2500 more so he can withstand some attacks (he takes double damage from the Queen). Still nothing. I should also be able to be able to win with the Main Party just fine, not have to beef them all up by grinding and grinding. Grinding is supposed to come for the bonus dungeons!

Basically you play through the entire game smoothly, until you reach the last boss, where you hit a wall, and have to spend probably another 4-5 hours pumping up your characters. I can handle extra levelling for preparation. But not this much. =/

Rant done. I need me some Dead Space. Or NHL '09. Or Senko no Ronde. Etc.
