Spider-Man becomes black not from a virus, but from an alien in space. A 'symbiote' which attaches to folk and buff them up ('course Spidey found out it was evil, and got rid of it via FFs sonic gun. Which it then attached itself to Eddie Brock).

Zabuza also pointed out the Ultimate Spider-Man way, which is basically the same thing, but not an alien (at least that's how it was in the game.)

So...yeah. Cool, nonetheless. Very cool. Spider-Man never sucks though, so it's what I expect.

(Hobo, wasn't the multi-armed Spidey known as "Doppleganger"? Or was that just some clone-like enemy? Either way, I have a toy of that whacko Spider-Man.)

The last thread ended badly because people took it the wrong way. That supportive critism was taking by some people a different way, and well, some bickering started and they ended up making sillies out themselves and the thread.

This however, is just flat out saying "these layouts suck". Which is sorta funny.

"Just disable them" is going to come from lots of people, and tis' a solution if you do not want to look at them, but really, why can't people just try and make their layouts better? Worth a shot. Gives the board a better 'image' in layout making.

(Notice how the these 'layouts not very good on this board' threads have come from two people that post on ACMLMs? Because at Aces Xk's the peoples board, they know how to make some good layouts. )

I'll probably be keeping an eye on it. I enjoy dem movies, but also, Jon Stewart is hosting it.

He had a pretty funny interview with Roger Ebert the other day, Jon asking the film critic how much he was going to suck, and about the movie "Doogal" which Stewart plays a part in. Playing a blue spring that wants to freeze the world with ice that comes from his moustahce, apparently.

Return of a fairly popular contest of VG charactors. After a quick consult with another, I decided to start it again. But bigger, more charactors, and make it look a little more fancier!

How is it going to be bigger? See below.

How is there more charactors? Lets say there will be 32.

Fancier? A image or two.

How it shall work! There will be two divisoins each with 16 charactors. The participants in each division will 'battle' according to polls, just like before. They will move up the tree. The winner of each division goes on to the Final, in which the most popular charactor will be crowned. They will be crowned the Golden charactor. The runner-up, bieng Silver. The two second place people from each division also have a poll to decide the Bronze, just before the Gold match goes.

When you vote in polls, remember to place a post as well! It is going to be alot of charactors, thus it will be a decently long tournament. Here are the trees. Shouldn't stretch it too much, I would hope. Two images, so here they are:

The finals will be seperate:

First, the battle for third. This will be open for three days to determine who can be 'bronze'. I'll look for some medals to give them.

The finals will come after that, and be around for 5 days. The winner will win it all! I'll admit, I didn't expect seeing either of these two in the finals.

No voting in closed threads. 'K? Just for those who decide to later on.

Read the first post. I can't see other bitching without suggestions on how to make them better (okay, a few. But that was AFTER people started to heat it up, not taking the critisism so well)

Now, I can almost foresee a repeat here. The whole 'just disable them' arguement runs dry, because I'm sure the ones who spoke of layouts bieng lame already thought of that, and perhaps already done it. Actually, some had already said they already disabled/blocked layouts. (Zem, Tanis for example.)

I also believe that the 'complainers' also think what the post SAYS is the most important thing in a post, they just think the layouts could be better.

This topic should just rest. It's not even Crazy Nonsense. Well, after looking over things, I guess it kinda is.

Seticus, that indeed is a fine idea for a 'who's better' kind of poll (really, no sarcasm). But this is more of a popularity contest. People still post why they like them more, which then they will hopefully go into detail like how you exampled (is that a word?) it.

P.S @ Xeo lol: If you mean how I'm going to decide who goes where in the tree, I was thinking of getting peoples opinions on who to choose via PM (those who did not give suggestions). Then for the 'battles' themselves I'll try and match popular charactors against other popular charactors, although one-sided matches ... it's inevitable, having them appear. I'll figure it out...once people start throwing more in the ring! If you don't, I'll be sad.

I'm getting avatars for each participating charactor, to put into the tree. So it's not just text like the last tournament, going on in a list format. A got someone to help me with those (<3), and I will proceed to deciding who goes against who today.

Lastly, because Pikachu is part of a huge game franchise, he may as well replace Michael Jackson. Any objections?

So expect that first polls to be in...I don't, completely. Not in a week, by any means. Relatively soon.

EDIT: Oh, and the thread title was a joke.

Another EDIT: Just so no confusions, the Ryu in the list is Ryu Hayabusa, from Ninja Gaiden. According to Cairoi. Yeah.
