Yo! I'm Ails. Or that name you see in my profile info. Call me however you like.

I'm a gamer dude, and I play games. (Shock!)
I'd summarize myself, but that's really complicated, so I'll just say that I find good games and play them. In my free time, when not gaming like a mad scientist, I also seek out good shows and watch them.

I'm terribly backlogged. D:

That aside, salutations! I hope you won't mind my stay here.

Oh my... if I start one of those, I'll have to list everything. That's going to take a long while.

Considering it's supposed to have absolutely no impact on the story, because player success makes Leon Kennedy die, I have no qualms in skipping this one.

Revelations looks yummy, though.

I swear, one of these days I'll manage to cosplay as Parco Folgore. I managed to get his dance moves down and everything. Plus, the Japanese version of the song is so deliciously wrong.

I'll admit it's hit or miss, but I figure it couldn't hurt to show off a project that took me a little over two years to make. This was born out of a request that some people in another forum I used to frequent made, because they didn't believe my advice on beating bosses and stages.

I hope at least some of you enjoy watching 128 videos of me beating stages. ~_~

Everything's on my youtube page. X)

The timeframe for that would have to be when I was between the ages of 3 and 5, if I remember correctly. And that was a really bad dream I had. X)

What is the biggest surprise you've ever gotten for a present? Can be good or bad.

So, about two days ago I finally digitally obtained got my hands on the European release of Xenoblade Chronicles. I must admit, it's been a long time since a game's level of customization has allowed me to get so intricate with how my characters grow, while not being completely overwhelming.

Also, this game is horrendously addictive. It's an MMO without peer pressure (read: really huge RPG sans MMO). D:

It's been incredibly fun so far! I've not yet gotten a permanent third character, however I think I'm well on my way to that. At any rate, I've been anticipating an English release since I first heard this game announced years ago. I'm glad there is one, even if it is only a European release right now.

Hah... being a fan of Xenogears and Xenosaga is great and all... but those games are not related to Xenoblade, aside from the fact they are both RPGs. ;

Oh, it certainly is in terms of quality. The game has so many little details in it that really bring the whole thing to life. Also, the world is huuuuuuge. I cannot emphasize this enough.

I get most of 'em. I also skip the box ones, because they can be gotten outside of missions. X)

It wasn't until the Zero 3 speedruns that I took a more completionist approach, getting all 10 secret disks in every stage.

Well, firefighting is the kind of job you never get enough appreciation for. Kind of like garbage collecting, honest police and detective work, and radiation surveying.

Though really, most of the lack of appreciation comes from the politicians and businessmen being asses. D:

Oh well, I'll still be one of those people who can relate to 'em. They end up working for something greater than themselves, regardless of the risk involved in doing that sort of job.

Barcraft? That sounds hilarious.

I remember when I used to be less confident about my worth to other people. I was much more polite back then, mostly because I didn't think I had any right to be mean to people. It made me a rather secluded person, and I kept mostly to myself. That shit's stupid when you're the kind of guy that thrives on playing multiplayer games, and has the best time in the world going countless rounds against your friends in fighting games.

As it turns out, I was, remain to be, and likely will always be one of the few people among the myriad I know that are virtually always right. So, I opened up, and grabbed my free life pass to being a dick. Lots of people have thanked me for it, amusingly, since they'd have never listened to my advice or warnings otherwise. I've become known as my community's Jesus, which isn't something I'd ever call myself.

As far as things have gone to not change, though, I still haven't held a relationship for more than 6 months.

... haha, oh well.

I'm not always big into openings and endings and whatnot, however there are times where the songs are just amazing, and really refreshing.

Gurren Lagann had that rap theme, which was so deliciously wrapped in a dramatic orchestral opening. Umineko no Naku Koro Ni had that really incredible ending theme which spoke about the vice of desire, and had this very uncommon voice for a J-themed song.

Also, I'm a sucker for "Battlecry," Samurai Champloo's opening. Being somewhat of a warrior myself, I have to love it. D:
