| Depends on the software you're using, and what you're actually asking.
If you want to do a screencapture, most video editing software (including Windows Movie Maker) has a camera option that allows you to capture .jpg images of anything paused on it's preview screen. If you want to create an animated .gif, most popular and some free programs out there can help with that. If you have Adobe ImageReady, you can create animated .gif in that from still images. |
