Finished Magician: Master and now reading The Dwarves of Whiskey Island, the sequel to The Dragons of the Cuyahoga (I misspelled it last time, I know). It's a real page-turner!

I'm currently reading:

Buzzed: The straight facts about the most used and abused drugs from alcohol to ecstasy.

I have the advanced reader copy (ARC, and uncorrected proof) of Kim Harrison's teen novel that comes out next month: Once Dead, Twice Shy.

And I'm also rereading Kim Harrisons The Outlaw Demon Wails before I read her latest, White Witch, Black Curse.

I finished the last book I was reading, it was awesome. Also plowed through Silverthorn, book three of the Riftwar Saga and now am on A Darkness at Sethanon which is the last book in the series. SO AWESOME!

I may be starting on the Kitty series by Carrie Vaughn, or reading Nemesis by Isaac Asimov next, not sure.

I've been picking up a lot of graphic novels again. I read through the first 3 volumes of Hellboy the other day.

Also read the second volume of 52. Yet another DC alternate universe. Not bad, but seriously, I'm so f-ing tired of the Earth 1, Earth 2, Earth 374 bull shit. At least with Marvel, most of everything happens in the same universe.

I'm finally getting around to reading Tank Girl, while I've still got some time to myself.

Well it's been awhile since I've been here. Let's see...

Read the Kitty series by Carrie Vaughn. It's amazing, next book comes out in a few weeks. Read this series, it's awesome, I swear.

Read Dragon Forge, book two in the Draconic Prophecies series by James Wyatt. Really good book, need to track down the last book now.

Read The Gathering Storm which I made an individual thread on to rant on it's awesomeness.

Just finished Nemesis by Isaac Asimov and I must say that Ben has finally succeeded in making a sci-fi fan out of me. Really cool story.

Up next is The Crystal Mountain by Thomas Reid, book three of the Empyrean Odyssey. The series is not one of my favorites but I had to finish it and it has finally got some cool stuff happening by the looks of my skimming through this one.

Also: Fables is good as any graphic novel series I've read.

I'm currently reading A Raisin in the Sun for English 10 (I hate plays made into books) and Moby Dick and The Great Gatsby for US History summer reading. Then, if I ever get around to finishing those two books I'll probably start to read Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead or some autobiography, biography, or book written about US History from the Revolution to right before WWI for even some more summer reading. Hooray summer reading!

Using tweezers to turn the pages?

I still need to read the Iliad and the Odyssey, even though I know the stories already.

So I finished Relic, Reliquary, and Riptide by Preston and Child. Taken a break from the series because of school, and now because of my latest distraction: The Complete and Unabridged Works of H.P. Lovecraft. Never read any Lovecraft before and I must say that I am really enjoying it so far. Especially "The Rats in the Walls" because of just how awesome it was. I know it doesn't matter but I am resisting the urge to jump straight to "The Call of Cthulhu" since I want to see how the whole mythos develops.

Now that I can finally put away books about penises and frigid bitches more interested in voting than making a man a sammich, I can finally read what I want!! AwwwwwwwRIGHT!

Found a discarded copy of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" in a donation box outside a used book store and am going through it while I ride the trains around town.

Otherwise, I've been reading the odd graphic novels again. Finished the last Fables book a few days ago, and I'm just going through comics I've bought or picked up for free but haven't read yet. Good stuff.

Read the fourth "Y:The Last Man" volume and the first volume of "Irreedeemable" yesterday. I started the eighth "Sandman" book, but it seemed be getting more and more difficult to read (it was simply too boring... sorry) and I was waiting to get picked up.

I think I'll finally read the three volumes of "Walking Dead" I've got, and then re-read the Marvel Mangaverse. Depends on the mood, I suppose.

Started the first volume of Robert Kirkman's "Walking Dead," continued to try to tackle the eighth "Sandman" book (but it still hasn't gotten any better), and am 3/4 through "Batman: Cacophony," which is probably the lightest and fastest read.

I've read a lot of Kirkman's other work ("Battle Pope," "Invincible," etc), and this was the first time I've tried to read the zombie books he's written, despite the fact that I bought the first three volumes at different Comic-Cons years back. They're all even signed by him since I threw them in with my "Battle Pope" books and "Invincible" comics.

While I love Neil's work to pieces there are some Sandman books that are practically a chore to work through no matter how many fantasy creatures quirky plot devices he might throw in. "At World's End," which the 8th book, is pretty much people telling stories while they're waiting out a storm and in some way (typical in every Sandman book), they all have to do with dreaming. Morpheus has seriously become less and less a likable character for me, and I'd rather see more of the other Endless.

Anyway, when it comes to Gaiman, I actually prefer his novels and other books. His graphic novels, while pretty, are really dry by comic book standards. They're good, but not my favorite.
