| A pain writhing beneath my back's skin,
It burns to the bone. For some odd reason, I feel like something miraculous is going to happen. What will become of me? What will I do? The pain grows. It burns and it stings so much, I figured it out. In my back.. If they would only grow some more. Blood drips down my back little by little, The pain grows a bit, I can't stand it anymore, OUT OF MY BACK, Out! They won't budge, Why? Why? What's going on? All of a suuden, a hand comes to my back, A comfort covers my body. "Rest, be patient," a voice says. I closed my eyes as sweat covered my face, There's nothing there, I thought, no one's there. "Shh... stop thinking and focus." I closed my eyes and let the secureness fill me up. It overflowed my heart to the point where I felt no pain. What is this? Out the pressure came from my back. not a single drop of blood sprayed, Where? I looked over and smiled, Pure white, White as snow, Wings of my own. Wings to fly with. |
