I didn't even bother going to my senior prom. It was too much of a money drop. A bunch of friends and I, including the guy who was going to ask me to prom, went out to an all-night diner and just talked and had a great time.

It would figure that it's a hoax, but usually Craigslist is pretty good about tossing out the utterly ridiculous and fake entries right away. Odd that this one has lasted a whole week.

Probably because it could pass for real, so they didn't really look at the date it was listed. It's probably happened though, that is the sad thing.

I actually went to two proms, mine and the year after mine. My boyfriend at the time wouldn't take me to mine, so my friend did... a year later when his girlfriend dumped him right before prom he asked me to go to his so he'd have a date. Wore the same dress to both. His prom was better, but I liked the location of mine more... reminded me vaguely of Hogwarts as I entered it. After his we went cosmic bowling (that's bowling by blacklight for those that don't know)... it was WAY more fun than any dance could ever be.

I say it should be a requirement... cosmic bowling in prom dresses/tuxedos.

I've never been to a school dance. I was never asked to go with anyone and the thought of showing up alone and sitting in the corner didn't thrill me too much..

Oh well, I guess it's just one of those teenage things I'll never experience.
